I’m not much of a complainer in life but this weather for 10 months straight has really been hard for a lot of people. Seasonal depression is a real thing and when it’s 10 months a year it’s rough 😞 With that said, I know extreme weather is happening all around the world so we’re all in this together 💔

@@leftcoastrevivals we are in the Pacific Northwest too, with all the rain. With family in AZ and CA, the rain can never be too much for us!

I would just put the bowl in my kitchen cabinet and use it when needed. All my German, East German, French, and Italian items in my cabinet.

You have a talent/gift and I enjoy shopping with you because I'm never disappointed.

I would have been so excited about finding the West German vase. We have several of my mother's.

I Love the first setting .....I just love vintage anything ...and you make it look so awesome....they all looked FAB...but first one was my fav...! By the way.... love all your turquoise...!!!

In 1975, after high school, I worked doing secretarial and receptionist work on Canoga Ave, Canoga Park CA. Across the street was a pottery company. They worked in a quansit hut, which was very, very warm. I had never seen anything like it.

FYI dogwood is called whippletree in England. My dau has 30 acres in central VA filled with dogwoods and her dream is to one day create a wedding venue. She even named her road whippletree. Love love love dogwoods!

Oh wow. I swear I have the same box. I did the same thing! I was in elementary school and went to the mountains of North Carolina. The front, in the corner said Grandfather mountain (I think). It had a mother and baby deer in the woods. I think it was kinda green coloring of the photo, and the rest was wood. tiny metal closure. Was able to put a little lock on it. I keep my rocks I found as a kid in there. Now I have to find it. :D

You would LOVE taking an intro pottery class. I was (still am) obsessed with pottery and taking an intro course at my local YMCA really opened my eyes to how much work and time goes into each piece. Each step in the process is necessary as well as an opportunity to be creative. Much love!

I think the fondue pot is supposed to have a "stand" where you put the sterno to heat the fondue. I used to have one just like it only burnt orange/red.

@@leftcoastrevivals I have seen Canuck and Evangeline. Unfortunately these companies did not always emboss mark but just used paper stickers. It is like going down a rabbit hole when researching all these potteries who more or less copied each other’s products.
