Never any blues music here. In fact, I called it, I knew there wouldn't be a mention of the blues genre on your play list even though you have the most radical deconstruction and reassembly of Howlin' Wolf ever attempted, that of Trout Mask Replica by Capt. Beefheart. I'd like to why you've made an end-run around the blues repeatedly (and consistently)? Trout Mask cover trivia....that is a bass, not a trout shown on the cover.

Why are you attacking me? I like what I like. I actually love Canned Heat (have talked about them many times) but overall I like other genres much more. Not everyone is a blues fan..

Blues is just a genre a lot of people hate get over it @theseatack I hate blues therefore I don't talk about it, bores me senseless. I love rock especially Beatles, Sparks and small faces.
Nice! I enjoy jazz myself. Especially smooth jazz when I needed to just relax.☺️
The 15th by Wire is an amazing song from the fantastic & innovative 154 album. 🎶 Providing , Deciding .. 🎶
A nice playlist Larry!. It’s cool to enjoy different types of music 👍xxx.

MUST LISTEN ALBUM ALERT: One of my all-time favorite live albums ever (and one of my personal "deserted island albums") is the amazing double CD live album: Bruce Hornsby - "Here Come The Noisemakers". Amazing! Larry....50 bucks says you will absolutely love this album too.
Hi Larry i will check out your playlist 👍✌️
Tribute to Jack Johnson is so good. That Right Off track just grooves and rocks for so long. Round About Midnight and Milestones are both great too.
I also love old country and blues some of my favorites are Woody Guthrie, Slim Whitman and Marty Robbins for Country and Howlin Wolf/ Lightnin Hopkins/ Robert Johnson blues
Larry, you're more versatile musically then I am even though I'm a musician,I'm kind of stuck in my ways but you're more open to all kinds of music and good for you, that's great that you love so many different kinds of music and Randy Newman is great, very talented and a bit of jazz in rock is OK but as a seasoning rather then as the dominating part of the song, there's some jazz out there that's just crazy that I don't even consider music, one particular song I heard sounded like two elephants mating or something,no kidding, just a couple of horns that were all over the place,I thought it was just noise and total garbage,I don't think even you would like it Larry. Bob
I love Miles Davis’ album Star People from 1983. The title track is very cool.
Larry, if you like Miles Davis' fusion era albums, then I highly suggest that you check out his double live album "Live Evil". This is one of my favorite Miles albums with great percussion happening throughout.
Good luck, Larry. You're a veryvl classy, wise, hilarious gentleman. Rock on☮️. I have a ❤ for Ella Fitzgerald and Fats Waller, classification?! Hell if I know ☘️😿🌚🦉😻
Heh--The Grand Wazoo arrived in the mail just today. So your recommendations do influence what I've been listening to lately. Need to check out Kraftwerk, Motörhead and that Yes album (Relayer). Miles Davis was a great innovator--not necessarily avant-garde, but stretching the boundaries of jazz at all times. Filles de Kilimanjaro was one of his last "traditional" jazz combo albums. Bitches Brew, which I adore, is regarded as a great leap forward in "fusion." On the Corner is a bit noisy for my taste--someone I used to know said that it was "like eating nails."--lulz! Jack Johnson was actually written to accompany a documentary but is also great.
My favorite music styles in addition to rock are: - Punk/New Wave - Folk Music - Singer/ Songwriters - and a little bit of electronic For each point there are so many artists i like.
wonderful selescions from a genuine listener

Thank you.
The Grand Wazoo is such an incredible album.
I'll need to check out this playlist, then reply back here with my review. Yeah, I think the Sex Pistols might be my favorite, but we'll see.
Hi Larry Orange blossom special is great the whole album is very good. I will watch for some of the others a couple I have but haven't played much I will give them another try. Sorry I like some punk in small doses, but Sex Pistols I have spent way too much time trying to like them not going to happen.
