Yah I just re watched that episode and HE DID.

This episode was a fucking punch in the guts. It hurts so much seeing Dean like that. He's destroyed and we can see it from his facial expressions, his body language and voice. He couldn't even say Cas is dead. During the last scene, when they are burning Castiel's body, it's so clear he's tired of all the shit that's been going on for far too long. It looks like he doesn't even have enough strength to support his shoulders. What hurt the most though is when he prayed Chuck because he just doesn't. The only one he ever prayed to was Cas because Dean doesn't like it. He hates praying. But he still did because he was/is desperate and needs help. They are alone for the very first time. No Crowley, which means, no more help from Hell; they lost their mother for the second time; and they lost their best friend. They always had someone to support them, always and now...they have no one. And Dean has lost his hope [ SPOILER IF YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE FACT THAT JARED FUCKED UP DURING A CON ] I look pretty forward to Cas return because I want Dean and Sam to be happy again for just a few seconds and I'm curious about Jack's reaction to finally meet the one he sees as a parental figure. I want them to rescue Mary and I want Bobby to meet her and kick asses together and I want Lucifer to meet Michael. I just don't wanna wait for the episodes. I crave for them.

Yeah but they only confirmed cas is back in the AU right? Idk how I feel about this, these few episodes really got me emotional, first crowley then cas its like all my fav characters are dying I can't even put my feelings into words right now

joesr31 no, he'll come back. It's not another Castiel but our Cas. The said there would be a big hug and that his return is going to mean something (like Jensen said). The cast, tho, said they will suspect him not to be the Cas they know because "how iz you alive???".

Jensen's "I need you to come back" over that soft guitar is so aesthetically pleasing, I'm getting sad cowboy vibes

Saying buddy to make it seen less gay = dean's defence mechanism

I'm still not okay over the episode... I was a crying mess yesterday and I still am now watching this. It was so well act by the boys yesterday... this is so sad.

Does anybody else find it at interesting that 0:18 has the statement, "We've lost everything." Which is then followed by the demand of, "And now you're going to bring HIM back." At 0:24. Or is that just me? Unless, of course, you guys think he was talking about Crowley. (Obviously not.) So yeah. He could say, "And now you're going to bring THEM back." Or he could be like, "And now you're going to bring HER back." Meaning his mom. But no. "You're going to bring HIM back." So does this mean mean that "everything" equates to Castiel then, Dean? Hmmmmm...
