I'm the guy from the first game who had absolutely NO FEAR of the Bowmaster. It had nothing to do with the fact that those were some of the worst hands I could've imagined. Seriously, though, it was a fun match and I got a chuckle out of the fact that Seth didn't immediately notice his own Ponza deck.

Yeah I don't think Seth understood how bad of a situation you were in. I've had to do things like brainstorm into a bow master before, sometimes you're not going to win unless you use your draw effects.

Seth, I'm a longtime fan and I have to say, your last few videos have been incredible. The Oops All Wraths deck was my favorite content you've put out probably in the last 10 years and Goblin Bombardment is one of my favorite red cards. I think when you play as many different decks and formats as seth its easy to get card effects mixed up. Bet it was just a mistake cus he was thinking of the ring etb like teferis protection or something for a second

I started playing around Zendikar when Bloodghast was originally printed and it is easily my favorite Magic card even to this day. It is so versatile. Glad to see that it’s getting a little bit of a showcase in this video.

At 45:21 if you play spiro and draw bombardment u have lethal (7 creatures + 3 bolt damage + 2 treasure damage, u bolt with the treasure u get from the goblin attack and sac ur board before damage)

⁠​⁠@@funkydiscogod I’m doing this math as I speak, so bear with me. 1st main he casts S.Pyro. Discards Mayhem Devil and one other, keeping Lightning Bolt in hand. Using the remaining land and treasure, he casts Goblin Bombardment (17.2% chance of getting it) and deals one damage to opponents face. Opponent goes to 17, move to combat. Swing with everything, everything gets blocked, treasure is created by Goblin Shaman. Sac 7 creatures at instant speed via Goblin Bombardment, saving the on-board Mayhem Devil for last. Each deals 2 damage to opponent’s face, dealing a total of 14 damage. Opponent goes to 3. Sac the treasure created by Goblin Shaman to cast the last card in your hand, Lightning Bolt. Opponent goes to zero. Seth missed a 17.2% chance of assembling lethal. Actually, if you sac the treasure and cast Lightning Bolt before you sac the Mayhem Devil, opponent goes to -1, so that’s technically the better line, but it doesn’t change anything here.

This deck was really sweet! I love goblin bombardment but I always saw it as a combo finisher, never thought of a deck using it "Fairly" and doing so well. Pyromancer and -Pingharmonicon- Mayhen Devil are suuuuuuuper sweet with bombarment.

Lol, I'm actually rocking a bladghast/bombardment deck in a smeagol field of the dead landfall shell in timeless^^ It has a hard time with tier one decks, but it can sneak in wins and is a ton of fun

The only way that could have been better set of matches if if Seth did the Simpsons dodgeball captain meme every time he used Goblin Bombardment. Very cool matches!

I think what makes timeless so good is the fact the sideboard is SO Powerful.

In the last game I feel like the Thoughtseize should have hit the grazer. It takes them off tempo, clears the way for Ragavan, and stops them from ramping. Great games overall though.

0:18 when seth said that I thought he meant a single Goblin Bombardment cost over 1000 USD, not the deck as a whole.

Around the 32:20 mark, why fatal push the eidolon on ur turn then play a Fetch and pass the turn? Wouldn't it be smarter to push it on his turn in case he plays anymore spells? That way he takes some more damage?

I suppose you’re right. Though if the board is set up with the Bombardment it wouldn’t be a do nothing. I don’t play much Timeless though.

I’d love to see this deck with insidious roots extra cards leaving graveyards and you got extra sac fodder!

6:16, 7:35 why are the arrows showing attacks and blocks so poorly visible sometimes? It started randomly happening after one of the most recent updates (2-3 weeks ago?) and I already lost 2 games when I literally wasn't able to determine whether the opponent was attacking me, my planeswalker or a battle

45:20 playing seasoned pyro would have been correct here. if you would have drawn bombardment + land that would have been lethal.

Im still waiting to see modern contects again, maybe some budget magic modern too.

They've admitted multiple times that they're moving on from MTGO-and to a lesser extent the formats that aren't supported by arena. I'm very unhappy with this change as well, but it is what it is.

bloodghast and mayhem devil are in the deck because of goblin bombardment, cat oven would be a completely different engine that is way less explosive. don't know if it is strong enough for timeless unless you're maybe running infinite combos with sam, the food shell also is missing a lot of pieces in timeless compared to modern, for example

I play a lurrus midrange deck and I have a literal 0% winrate against prime time. It DESTROYS any deck that can’t race it.

I want Bowmaster banned because most of my favorte cards are X/1's .

I mean, this is just a good timeless deck. but with goblin bombardment... these timeless decks all look kinda samey. Too much like modern, there's just always those few cards like bowmasters that make every deck.
