The thing about Frieza creating his "Supernova" attack (the great big orange ball of doom) with one finger: ki, the power used for beam or other energy attacks, is channeled thriugh the body. Most attacks use the hands because those are what they fight with the most. But, in OG Dragon Ball, Goku once performed a Kame-hame-ha with his feet, we see several beams fired from mouths, and a few from eyes. As long as the ki is focused, a fighter can launch energy based attacks from any part of their body. Im sure Frieza or a Saiyan with a tail could fire beams from them if they figured out how to direct their energy that way. As long as a fighter has ki in their body, they can use it for a very wide variety of attacks, including self destruction, like Chiaotzu displayed against Nappa, though that also uses life energy, which may or may not be even more potent than ki. Also, Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta's exchange: Gohan: "Either that, or we just felt Frieza's *mom."* Krillin: "... Who here just thought of Frieza with boobs? ... *Really?* Im the *only one?"* Vegeta, about Krillin being the only one to oicture Frieza with boobs: "Yes! (In his head: He must *never know.)"* Vegeta imagined Frieza with boobs, and will take that to his grave... And the graves of anyone else that finds out, because he'd *definitely* murder them for finding out (and if he didn't, it certainly wouldn't be for lack of trying).

You are thinking of Goten who is best friends with Trunks in this timeline. He doesn’t exist in Future Trunks’ timeline since Goku died before Goten was conceived
