I love how you're are so honest with these survival shows 😭, like I see so many people forcing themselves to like these types of show and say there perfect and saying it's the best thing ever

This is still my favourite way to see these shows. All the interesting bits without all the boring filler. Love hearing your thoughts and opinions. I've seen a few performances and I agree with your points

6:44 I'm not surprised in the slightest that they are performing an Enhypen song, but Sweet Venom wouldn't have been the song I would choose from them. I would at least consider Given-Taken, Tamed-Dashed or Upper Side Dreamin' instead (I excluded Drunk-Dazed because it has some genuinely difficult parts in the choreo, specially the last part)

I'd also like to mention how sick the way they let the ground members perform, like wdym they can only perform once someone is dropped?? like obviously at least one person will get dropped but what if they didnt. a week (?) of practice for nothing????? just... odd...

5:34 The oldest is 19?!? It makes me scared to know the age of the youngest contestant

The youngest ones are the same age as Chiquita in Babymonster, and they would be debut much later, atleast next year or the end of 2024, so I guess that doesn't bother me that much tho.

Their debut song will most likely sound like any other new gen gg song. The same ol' less than 3 minutes and "easy-listenable" song (the usual formula to compensate the lack of skills of the idols). Also why do these contestants look so much younger than the usual k-pop idol/trainee 😭😭😭

So glad you’re back! I always appreciate your thoughts. I mostly agree with you, but I actually liked Saebi’s vocals in sweet venom! I didn’t personally hear too many glaring issues. She’s clearly not a vocalist but she was able to do her parts well and on pitch with a nice tone.

We can tell how sick you are from these survival shows and honestly, same girl same. Also fun fact Nam Yuju is in the same entertainment as Lee Sunwoo from UT and has also been in a pre-debut group with her for a very long time now, making dance covers and even sometimes content on their yt together. The reason she probably said "last chance" is cause of how long they've been a pre-debut grp and it doesnt seem like their company is planning to debut them any time soon considering how many times they've decided to send these girlies on survival shows but yeahh, when I first heard her say "last chance" with only the age of 16? 17? I lowkey gagged a bit cause like tf?

still mad they did her sooo dirty.. like she had a lot of potential but got no screen time. + her performance didnt air. still dont know how she was eliminated first even with all that.. i feel like iris, yewon, and ena couldve been eliminated before her? idk 😭 also yuisa wouldve fit illit’s concept so much omg. just a thought tho.

About the Yuju line thing , It might have been poor editing or her mic stopped working suddenly because u could hear her very softly singing the lyrics

Me and a friend of mine are watchin the series and so far were findin it ok to watch, were both just happy for once in a survival shows the contestants being pushed arent children for a change, literally when me firend though "Huh Um Jiwon sounded nice and the judges maybe were a lil harsh, thats a change usually they push for the children to debut" So with girls like Fuko and Jeemin being pushed were not to upset since there the older contestants. We both are also Stanning "Villian" Jiyoon to debut we love just how Geniune are Real She has been, Other favs inculde Fuko and Jungeun.

Tbf to Yuju saying this might be her last chance from what i’ve seen most companies audition ads have ridiculous age limits like the oldest ones able to apply are between 05s-06s some even have the oldest as 08s

@@olivespizza6995nothing wrong with him as a person as far as i know its just that he barely makes songs, hes most famously the reason why blackpink has like 1 comeback per year cuz hes their main producer, so if hes iland 2’s group’s main producer, along with wakeone which is infamous for being a shit company… honey they’ll be having 1 comeback per year, 2 if were lucky😭

Glad to see you’re back also , Yuju didn’t skip any of her lines there was an issue with her mic and it kept going in and out and the mentors saw that as her just not singing which is not the case she’s the 3rd best vocalist on the show , just hasn’t showcased her all. And for them to say she needs to excel in just one talent is bs, aces are aces for a reason. Another thing - about her saying this is her last chance I’m pretty sure she was saying she’d stop training as a trainee because she’s been at this for years.

I don't know if you've seen Next Level Chef but I think it would be a way better forum. Top Floor , Middle Floor and Bottom Floor. Top Floor you get all the privileges. You pick your concept , your song , your costume , your part everything based on the brief. Middle Floor you get to pick your concept and your part but everything else is handed to you. Bottom Floor everything is up to the mentors.

What confuses me most is the number 11th and 12th of ilanders both got 3 votes… But how can all three members of Itzy - Cake got eliminated to Ground when logically thinking they must’ve voted for themselves + the other two from their group?🤔 Or i guess not?

it's 7 members in iland season 1 and they have a similar layout so once they eliminate everyone in ground I think 12 ppl will compete for debut

I skipped the whole introduction. This is the first season that I am watching. The ground seems like a prison to me. What do the girls even eat there. It was never shown.

Hi! I’m a bit late but if it’s like season one they just come there to practice and leave to sleep/eat but not sure about if they go home, in an hotel or in their company dorms.

After seeing this show for 3 episodes, universe ticket doesn't seem that bad anymore to me, casting a bunch of kids that also have very underdeveloped skills still bothers me but that is another problem 😂. I also hate the concept of this i-land show, it looks like a story-driven series instead of a survival show. Also, I don't know what the reasons are, but I just don't like the mentors/ judges

Mai seems like a nice performer overall, but I don't like how people are only voting her because of her visuals, specially when her singing skills are lacking. I've even seen one ktuber who placed mai at first in ranking only because of her visuals. (I know that it's only her opinion) but I think that It's still very shallow.

Tbh I don't get why song kang is even here 😅 like his parts are so unnecessary and soulless like if its going to be like this just use the freaking ai voice you've been using 90% of the time
