THANK YOU for sticking up for jiyoon!!!! while I do think that she could've handled it better, she was relatable and shes still a teenager😭 like ofc she's gonna be pissed off when she gets sidelined by the other contestants when she's hands down one of the most talented girls there. shit, if I had a voice like her and didn't get to showcase it and had to give my lines to someone else, I'd be pissed too

But she isn’t the only one here though. Literally everyone in this show is a teenager, everyone is fighting for a chance to debut, some are literally from other countries at just 15, 16 competing. So what if everyone starts showing tantrums? I get her frustration but she needs to understand the other people are literally in the same situation as her and yet they are handling the situation more maturely.

Bro that is such an immature way to go about things. 30 year old judges with husbands and wives don't set the girls up for drama. The girls came up with new distributions because other girls suited other parts more. i don't care that i-landers didn't want to work with Jiyoon again, even if i disagree, their feelings are valid too etc. but i really can't stop rolling my eyes at Mnet over-highlighting her facial expressions during the comforting session and that she left without saying goodbye. it really felt like she was being punished for not bursting into tears and not wanting to be touched. "you didn't express utter devastation the way we want you to? EVIL!" sure she could have gracefully said goodbye instead of just leaving, but damn can a girl not just want to get out of an uncomfortable situation as fast as she can? in her place i would also just want to get Out of there, not stick around, not be awkwardly pat on the shoulder, not force some cheerful goodbye around the lump in my throat. if the other girls have the social awareness they want their teammates to have, they'll understand that she just wanted to exit. Mnet can truly bite it for this one

I really hate how some veiwers were saying jiyoon have attitude Problems LIKE its normal to react like that peopl were shutting her down then when she got Demoted to ground the all start comforting her??! LIKE GIRL NO

Okay but the i-landers only voted jiyoon because they all themselves felt that they couldn't work with her so we cant just blame them all for throwing her out. Yes its normal human emotion to be upset when things dont go your way or when ur treated wrong but taking example of the other girls like mai, she could have just handled it better so that the others would'nt feel the need to vote her out. whereas mai, she never speaks up about what part she wants and always pulls off the parts she gets even if their extra or the parts dont show her charm but she alwasy makes it work. and then jiyoon when she doesnt get her parts get upset and doesnt cooperate with the part that she gets. you have to understand that she's not the only teenage girl with a dream there, she has to cooperate with the others and be considerate just like jungeon was when she was distributing parts so that nobody got unfair treatment.

while i understand what youre saying in theory, jiyoon HAD the main vocal part, it wasnt like mai who was never up for one of the main positions and so it made little difference whether she got part whatever or part 12. jiyoon had the main vocal, then got booted, then tried for like 3 other parts, got booted from each of those and then got her last choice. mai on the other hand got shifted maybe once, from a part that was minimal to another part that was equally minimal so why would she react much anyways?? jiyoon was done very dirty, and her reaction is absolutely justified, if a little immature but come on shes a teenager. its not fair to compare her situation to mai's because theyre not similar at all

I agree with you!! But i just think that the fact none of the girls voted for jiyoon to stay is reasonable. They had a limited number of people to vote and they had to vote for who they wanted to work with in I-land. If jiyoon shows that she gets upset when not getting the part she wanted (Which I dont blame her, it's human feelings and totally okay.), it's normal that the other girls would prefer someone else to stay with them. She didn't know how to handle her emotions and even Mai who got the last part was still determined in practice and cheering up the other girls. Anyways just to point out, even tho jiyoon is not wrong she stills gets the mood of the team down by her reactions.

I feel so honoured for being used as an example of a good comment! I really, really like your videos and listening to your opinions, even if we don't agree sometimes (that's happening now, in Universe Ticket I was pretty much agreeing the entire time), and I'm really sorry that you get idiotic comments just because you're not praising some trainees, but it's not like you're insulting them! People need to get over it and remember it's only youtube and only a tv show! Anyway, keep up the good work and hope you have a great weekend! (episode 3 was pretty fun imo, hope you enjoy it!)

I really do wonder how much editing is going on here... No hate at all to these girls, theyre literally kids so you can't expect them to be perfect...but the way they portray Mai acting VS Jiyoon...even including the episode from just yesterday... Basically every time Mai ends up getting the "worst" part- or the one she really thinks she can't pull off, (which is like every episode), she seems to take it pretty easily and basically say, "I am not sure I can do it, but I will do my best!" She seems to have a super amazing attitude, while continuing to support the other girls, and, (imo), SLAYING everything she is insecure about!! And she seems pretty happy too...she makes the best of it and even stands out when she gets the most insignificant part!!! Whereas Jiyoon they show to almost never smile and seems to take each obstacle- like not getting the ideal part for her to easily shine and show her abilities, a lot harder, by kind of moping. It seems to consume her. And it only shows her cracking a little smile when she is finally given the exact part she wants. I can only imagine if it were me, I would 100% burst into tears and not be able to handle it!! So like I said, no hate to the girls- i just think that when you see them compared side by side, it's easy to see a big difference, and it makes it hard for me to not root for Mai the most and hope that Jiyoon gets mental support if she needs it and, if she really does take these onstables so roughly, maybe have more time as a trainee before she debuts because there will probably be many times you won't get the part you want and such and it would be good for her mentally and the whole team she ends up heing a part of, if she learned how to not let it get to her so much!!

The vibes and dynamics gave flashbacks when I was in highschool doing group projects. There's a reason why most people hate those. I've been on different sides of the story: the leader, the bystander, and the lagging one. It just sucks for everyone involved, except for the teacher ofc. Iykyk And then somebody actually said it's a good idea to recreate that exact same environment with trainees? I swear to God, they better have a good councilor for the girls

Another case of Mnet evil editing and judges picking trainees who are more marketable than trainees with actual talent

I think its Actually meant to be "boring" they said that the real challenge starts on part 2 of I land (my opinion)❤

I originally thought I’d dislike most of your opinions but lowkey they all ate. I personally think this episode was pretty entertaining but it’s so funny cuz as of ep4 it’s so funny that the girls who like “stood out” the best among the girls in ground was JIYOON, FUKO AND GYURI. I feel like jungeun and jiyoon drama is gonna be juiced up to the max in this series, I can’t help but agree with ur Juwon criticism but I hate it cuz she’s one of if not my top pick cause she is so talented and underrated, ep2 was by far the worst episode of any survival show I’ve watched to be completely despite how entertaining it was, it was a mess and I feel like they are trying to cause the girls to hate each other ATP

Jiyoon is not centre material. It’s weird that her fans are hyping her up so much but somehow I am feeling her. Yes she can sing but so other people.

The unclear direction of the position is bothering me too. if they only want to show up 3 or 4 candidates at the time they should make more teams or fewer candidates. In between the line they set up that Yuju and Yui as potential rappers / rivals. and few others as the visual, and dancer. But almost none as main vocal material. why not just be explicitly what are the strengths and roles that each one is searching for.

Atp, do we even know how many members will debut in the final lineup? Did the show even announce it?!

in the original I-land that formed enhypen they announced the number of members for the final lineup near the end of the show. i think they do it to create drama 😭

Wakeone better not be managing the debut group, because they're just a money laundering front. They don't pay anyone at that company,employees leaving all the time and severe mismanagement of idol groups

the creative team organizing these shows need to fired. Old survival shows were sm better wtf hapened

She was disappointed. This show is just like that, Jiyoon is literally surviving from mnet's edit nothing else. I just realized edit's, visual and music effect's power after that episode. But I literally feel Jiyoon is so strong, just she couldn't control her emotion. And it's also okay I'll say be yourself is the best. My personal opinion : Jungeun she can be good at everything but not as a leader. She made me anxious to be honest. I really don't think I can vibe with her throughout the journey. Not hating her but I don't really like her too

I was gonna try and tune in this weekend but seeing teenage girls criticized for being exactly that is always so soul crushing 😭 plus I hate this format and seeing hybe brain rot follow Jeemin stans into this show is not promising either.
