As a Citizen Soldier fan from the beginning, you need to know one thing. What you are hearing with Jake's delivery of the lyrics and vocals (songwriter, lead singer), is because Jake HAS felt these things. that's how his lyrics and delivery are SO relatable. This is a song is one of my anthems because I too relate too much. If you loved the screams you will love Fever and Life Sentence songs great honest reaction!

Definitely react to Life Sentence. He wrote it for those of us that suffer from CPTSD. It is their hardest song to date and Jake said he may not write another that hard again. Really reminds me of Corey Taylor with those vocals in that one.

More Citizen Soldier! I know the views on this band probably aren't your best, but I hope if reactors keep covering their songs, they'll reach the people who need to hear them

Even if things are bad, it's not because I'm ACTUALLY a bad person, I've just had things in my life that make me wired to feel that way...that's what I always take away from this one... Yes, I can not handle compliments. They feel icky and give me (hard to explain) it makes my whole body feel creepy crawlies . It's not pleasant and I feel like I need a shower Hot as I can stand it. I do not trust compliments. From past experience it always has led to huge set up to fail and fall . The good news is I've never used any of it as a reason to hurt someone else. But I'll never ask for help. I have no expectations Of anyone. I Like and even love a great many people. I Like you a Lot DJ. I'll whitelist you ok? My way of saying I've learned to smile and nod and even give a good performance so you won't know what's going on in my head. Lots of childhood trauma = many more years of therapy to get it figured out. Will I ever feel the same level of Happy? as an average person? maybe not. But I'm at a place where I can be ok with whatever comes. That's saying quite a lot.
