I never been in a place that treated janitors like shit - at my current job, we have this guy named benny who comes in every day. Everyone likes him a lot, he is cool, does all his work really well and seems to enjoy it. Also, cause no one wants to be a "lowly" janitor anymore, he actually makes more money than most of us there xD he totally deserves it too!

​@@SeraphRyanthat is also a fact... we, in the maintenance department, are understaffed and often have to take shifts on our cause of that when we're supposed to be working in pairs all the time meaning... those times we can only manage the bare minimum which gives a heavier weight for the next team, it sucks 🫤... it's a HUGE business with lots of customers so there's a lot of ground to cover 😅

@@SeraphRyan fr janitors are always so nice, we have our own cleaner who comes by to our house (let’s call him Mr. K) and he’s a really nice guy who gave me gifts a few times (i was sussing that out at first but he’s never done anything weird so I think he’s fine) unfortunately I heard he only gets to keep a small tip percentage of what we pay him. Sad.

As a janitor I hate when people look down on us like we have to clean up your literal crap

Serves Chief Ueno right! He got exposed for abusing his authority to give his work to his subordinates and blaming them if they made a mistake. He got demoted and being transferred to different branch that is a long distance. I want to see him suffer more by him working under supervisors who are worse than him and eventually quit. Keiichi helped even when she's in disguise without him knowing it's her and give her a confidence to become a rightful CEO of the company. now he became the CEO's secretary and ended up becoming lovers with Yui.

Never look down of anyone from a company regardless of the job.

I always wonder why these antagonists never actually get fired on the spot. They usually either get demoted to a faraway place, end up quitting themselves or finally get fired at a later date.

probably some kind of thing within japanese offices or work laws or something. how regular these are in these stories probably means that theres a reason over at japan on why they just get demoted to a different location. from what i know its more often like they would prefer you quit than they fire you. maybe Firing in itself comes with some kind of cost for the company? severance pays perhaps but thats just my guess

If they get fired, they get severance pay and unemployment benefits. If they get demoted, they get nothing, and it looks bad on any future applications Edit: also, for most of them it’s a pride thing. Getting fired isn’t nearly as bad as being sent to the bottom of the ladder. That’s why they always quit, their pride got trampled on

Yui was playing the "secret agent" role so well, nobody expected it. Although she made small blunders here and there, she managed to reveal how strong of a boss she is and not a mere figurehead. It's like the king disguising himself as a mere worker to see what his kingdom does.

She was pretty incompetent. She thought she was helping Keiichi by letting him leave, but she had no plan. She was basically firing him without the stigma of being fired. He would've been unemployed, with no leads on a new job.

There were subtle hints that the two were the same, kind of like a twist villain. If you look at the first time, then you'd miss that she was actually the CEO. Plus, it was a dead giveaway that she was the CEO when she called him over, and the hints were that she talked to him directly and wanted to examine with him. Plus, she slipped up once and said the CEO was carried away, so there were small hints to lead one. The office one was the main one where the CEO reveals herself. Kind of like a plot twist that is able to be foreseen, that something is off.

And in many areas, it takes LICENSES and CERTIFICATIONS to do the job they do, since much of the supplies they use and the work they perform are either State-regulated or even Federally-monitored via guidelines (infrastructure's not cheap).
