OK, I already started doing something just on the fly. May 19 in NYC I guess is sort of the start of "post-pandemic" and I planted a flower every day since at a tiny park where I spent a brunt of my pandemic life. It's sort of like an unofficial "outdoor dining area" across from Dunkin where ppl sit for coffee and hang out and feed the birds...and chase them if you're a little kid ;). I even asked for ice cream cups for the garden to put water in them for the birds. hehe Hopefully the garden will thrive and grow along with the community as everything reopens to full capacity! :)

I feel weak and I don't wanna get up from bed. I'm afraid to get tested because I came in contact with soooooo many people because of of my cousin's birthday party yesterday and it would screw them up if it turns out that I'm positive but I'm also concerned about them at the same time. During Covid, I have discovered a love for playing ukulele , which I think is so funny because that was something you had mentioned in your hobby idea video! I am happy to hear that you and your family have fully recovered from Covid- I know that must have been scary, especially since Covid was such an unknown disease at the time. A local pizza owner had a friend who lost his taste in April 2020 (Queens NYC outbreak). I just asked about him on 3/31/2021 (almost a year since) and they said he recently started to get some back but still can't smell chocolate. On a side note, the pizza owners (brothers) tested anti-body positive in May 2020 but never knew they also got infected. Only one worker (52) in the whole store actually got sick...and he went to hospital for 6 months (136 days ICU, 120 days ventilator). He was in the news. He was working that day too but I didn't recognize him since he lost a lot of weight. Went from 190 to 139 lbs and gained a bit back (160 lbs) after leaving hospital in September 2020 and physical therapy and such.

The day that I fell in love! ❤ JK. 😊 Fortunately, thanks to UC Berkeley I have received both shots of the Moderna vaccine and by tomorrow will be fully vaccinated as it will be my 14th day after the 2nd shot. What I miss and want to do most is being with my friends, having a beer and going to play pool at the Tap Haus in Berkeley Ca.

Haha! Well, I suppose it's I who is the one who needs to redact my words. For all those concerned, it is I who had miscalculated, or at least misunderstood her given percentages. It took me until that same day in the evening to realize just actually out of nowhere, just came to me that, "oh, her data citation was correct for the virus at that time." Not sure what the numbers are now. I do have the tendency to go on rants. My sincerest apologies to @ByStephieNics and all those concerned. I had just had to justify my taking the vaccine to one of my friends who was misinformed and since there is so much misinformation out there, I suppose, I just overreacted. Sorry. I meant to apologize and correct my comment the very next day, but I got really busy and then I kind of forgot about it, but I must be more responsible than that. Peace to all, be safe, and be informed. Love.

Wow, now that I saw your symptoms again, I noticed it was the exact same as what another college girl told me. Except hers was worse since she lost her taste and smell for 2 months. Her family story is a bit sadder too. Her grandfather (60) died. Her dad had 2 weeks of fever and went to hospital for 2 weeks on oxygen. Her mom was sick for a month and is a long hauler. 2 little kids had anti-bodies but no symptoms. This is during the Queens, NYC outbreak. Then in the California outbreak, her aunts along with their kids got sick. One was 13 years old (vomiting among other symptoms). Sounds like family genetics played a role here. I remember your family also has similar symptoms that worsened with age. Did your relatives also get sick?

I'm very sorry to hear, I hope her family's doing alright now ❤️ I've had extended family get sick too, but since we all live in areas where there were big outbreaks it's hard to draw a familial connection. Hope you're doing well, nice to hear from you again 😊

@@ByStephieNics Thanks! Her mom is getting better now and I heard she doesn't need as much medicine anymore. I'm doing great so far, against COVID at least. The only relative (non blood to me) I heard of testing positive was an Aunt like 80 years old wayyy in beginning. But she was asymptomatic and probably got it from the hospital where she went for something else and they just decided to test her for some reason. Unless her "symptoms" weren't categorized under COVID at the time...hmmm. Anyways, I think personally I've been "field tested" as one of the restaurants in Queens I dined in like every other day had an outbreak. I talked to the sister about COVID right before they closed cuz the family got sick and her brother died after. Another I did a lot of take out from also closed when they got sick. Long-hauler Pop (maybe 60-70) went to "tents" in Central Park for 9 days. Mom (maybe 30-40) didn't have fever and was rejected. Daughter (18) and chef (30's) didn't feel jack (but said 6 of his friends died). Menu maker died. 3 story building across street had 3 ppl die. Pop's friend's 26 y/o daughter got sick on a Friday, and by Saturday when she went to sleep, she didn't wake up. I'm in Queen's NYC and have too many stories apart from the above 2 restaurants. Very sad ones.

@@ByStephieNics Ha...I just talked to a supermarket girl who's family also lost taste and smell and it reminded me of your family! She had hers in June and the loss lasted 2 months! She said she had maybe 1 day of fever but her neck hurt turning instead of eyes (prolly lymph nodes I guess). And her mom and dad has a bit more fever I think. And she also said many of her relatives got COVID and they also lost taste and smell as well, but they all survived. \o/
