Great video for a great cause. My wife and I have recently started shopping at Moto Camp Nerd, and this past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Ben and Mary at the 2024 Palmetto ADV Rally here in SC (you should have seen their set up). They are amazing people and we had a great time with them. PS Ben and Mary are the only ones I’ve ever seen practicing two up on a 1250 GS in deep sand. We plan to support them with every need we have if they provide/sell the products in need.

I’m fortunate to live only 1.5 hours away from MCN’s shop. I’ve purchased nearly all of my camping gear from him. They are so knowledgeable about everything they sell and help tremendously with recommendations. Ben has a lot in stock and it’s great to get hands on so comparisons can easily be made. Good shop and Great people!

Totally loving the Moto Camp Nerd product selection! Currently on the hunt for a new tent. But hey, gotta speak up about your jab at jobs in 'dark, scary factories with deadly machines.' ​@@Robert-jp8gq Y'all know the exaggeration of dark and scary is part of the funny! I've been in manufacturing 13 years and there are definitely some great places to work providing great stability, pay, benefits, vacation time off, and they even actually care about your well being. Only seen and know of a handful that are truly dark and scary, like OSHA should shut them down for the amount of amputations or deaths scary because they don't care about safety. I got burnt out on manufacturing from working 12hr days 7 days a week and not allowed to take time off for months on end. I'm in maintenance, electronics/automation/robot tech. But we mostly get called lazy by operations 😂

@@MotoCampNerd Thanks for the reply, no worries, and I totally get the burnout... You can pretty much lose touch with the world when you're on a 12-hour, 7-day mandatory schedule; I went through that a couple of years ago. It's funny, our operations/maintenance guys have the same kind of back and forth. Half the time, we're down because no one wants to shut the machines down to do proper preventive maintenance! Really admire you for pursuing another career option; you're doing it the right way.

Awesome video! They are amazing.....I had a few detailed questions , so I emailed them. Ben then found time in his crazy schedule, to call me. We spent an hour, going over my questions. He explained, helped, and laughed as we talked Adv. Bikes too. BEST customer service even since then....much ❤.

Word of mouth has contributed to the success of a lot of businesses. Don't understand some of the backlash here. To me, it's no different than me (or anyone else) telling my friends or co-workers about the guy that does my lawn, fixed the water leak in my house, or repaired my car. 😀

That's the plan! We were doing some regularly back in 2021 but everything got so busy we just haven't had the time to make videos ourselves and kick out more product videos, but we will!

I am a long distance hiker and have hiked on several continents. Super light gear is a necessity and with age I am transitioning to motorcycle adventures. I watched the video and when I went to the link you shared the first thing I saw advertised was Big Agnes gear, I own several thousand dollars of their gear and can attest to the quality and warranty of their gear. High grade camping gear is very light and packs down to a very small volume. Check out ultra light hiking gear and you want regret it.

In a world where "Customer and Service" seem to have become non existence. Ben responded to my email at 7pm pst on a Sunday night. That's 10pm est. That alone exemplifies CUSTOMER SERVICE.! I shop MCN every chance I get.

Hmmmm . . . OK😅 I blew $100! Im an older guy that has always bought good stuff. I rarely find something i need anymore because good stuff lasts. I bought a jet boil about 15 yrs ago. The thing is bomb proof. It has not had an easy life but its simple and good quality. If you don't have one, I highly recommend one. I love that it all packs into the pot! I've always wanted one of those foldable fire pits so I bought one of those and a couple other more modern things that are easier to pack. Good sale right now and signed up for %10 off! Upgrade a little I guess!
