That’s how “dark humor” people come across to other people. If you don’t read the room, and most don’t, it comes out forced and excruciating to witness. But then if you remark on it they just hide behind “you’re offended.” 😂
@ActuallyHoudini
Жыл бұрын
@@dogfat. Usually it's just making bigotted remarks and then they get mad at the audience for not laughing, calling them "sensitive" instead of maybe changing their own material. I would say that's one way to ruin your career in comedy, but I'd think Netflix would be pounding at your door begging to give you a comedy special with that route. If you get invited on Joe Rogan and he says you're funny, you're set for life.
@jambott5520
Жыл бұрын
@@dogfat. most people are fine with dark humor, its just that most people don't find dark stuff inherantly funny. Like in this video, the dude uses dead babies as the punch line. Like its funny in of itself, like a child would use the word poop. For dark humor you need the dark and the humor. If you think that just being dark is funny in of itself then more power to you but most people won't find that funny. Like I find dark shit funny in of itself, I am a child and when someone says dead babies I start to giggle, but its not a good joke. People don't like your shit because its not funny, being offended comes second to that. Most people can look past being offended if its funny enough, for examples see the multitude of roasting videos where people excuse other people absolutely trashing them because of how funny it is

Those four minutes felt like half an hour.
The fact that these videos usually end in showing you and all your friends just having a good time and doing stupid things makes me probably the happiest ive ever been watching a KZread channel. Joel (and friends) you are indeed a precious gift we dont deserve
I love those bloopers you put at the end of your videos. It completely relieves any tension in the best way possible to me. Everybody just having a good time together. I'm glad I subscribed to your channel and hope you're still having as much fun working on these!
Daxile Flamins has really come a long way honing his acting method since "Man at Bank."
All jokes aside, Dax is such an impressive actor.
It's unreal how good Dax is
I appreciate the consistent inclusions of an awkwardness safety net, in the form of premise puncturing b-roll at the end.
How did you perfectly write *The Guy* at every highschool lunch table

These politically correct folks don't like dead baby jokes!
Always best to explain and explain the joke until they get it

Love how he just kept pushing it lol
Man I love the outro where yall are just laughing and having fun. What an awesome group of people. Also I really love how you color grade all your work, I've gotten so used to that slightly faded look and it looks so clean. It's really nice :)
joel looks at dax and trent with such love at the very end there. so good.
Dax has such a refined sense of humor. The video where he greets Joel on the street and starts listing ways the greeting could've been worse is one of my favorite videos on this channel. So good!!
"The same baby three weeks later" cracked me up.
when I was watching at 1:24 i was extremely delighted to see this video still had over 2 minutes left
"All the links are purple! You clicked them all."
Thank you for showing the outtakes.
An actual masterpiece. Fantastic acting, really.
Lol reminds me of high school! Good stuff! I love it when you work with Dax!
Dax is actually an incredible actor.
I wish this would have gone on for three hours
I always felt like there's a time and a place for jokes that are dark. And it's when you're with the people you know the best.
