That's really just something that you have to deal with when working with foreign contractors in countries where wages are lower. Hackers from the US or Europe can pay those foreign contractors a week's wages and give the contractor the equivalent of a year's salary.

I used to play this game alot when I was a kid, and a couple of months ago I played for the sake of nostalgia and seeing how much the site has fallen since then is so depressing and anger inducing. The fact that Roblox is allowing pedophiles, degnerates and these sus games on their platform makes me sick. It honestly feels like a huge part of my childhood has been tainted. I was still vulnerable to grooming after that cos The groomer had sorta exposed me to _alot_ of NSFW/creepy content, which led to me normalising any sexual or weird behaviour from anyone. I would assume the same might have happened to unclediddle3 too? Oh and the groomer got me into the weird nsfw side of communities filled with children and creepy adults/ sometimes teens such as fnaf, gacha, Yandere simulator or more that I still interacted with after breaking up with the groomer. I managed to avoid being groomed again tho cos I didn’t interact with ppl online much buttttt there are kids who probs interacted with weird ppl or content online unlike me and thus gotten themselves into being groomed again Uhhhhh tldr ppl are still vulnerable to being groomed multiple times cos they might break up with the groomer for reasons that about the grooming, have sexual themes normalised to them and keep interacting with nsfw content or fandoms filled with groomers and kids after breaking up with the groomer and thus be vulnerable to grooming online and offline Sorry for the long ramble aha I’m vv bad at getting my point across irndjrjemfjdjd

Ruben honestly should have stuck his heels in and told them to bring it. The courts would have instantly told Roblox to screw off considering how Ruben himself annihilated all their accusations in a single video while also bringing up their abhorrent behaviour with protecting children on their platform. Roblox afterwards struck a plea bargain with Ruben to exile him in exchange for not suing him, like Ruben would have been ruined by the court proceedings and not Roblox in the ensuing PR Disaster that would have followed. But since court trials are rather mentally straining and depend these days alot more on how many lawyers you can buy, Ruben probably thought that just wouldn't have been worth it, which is understandable. But you can't help but think about what could have been...

It makes me so happy that he points out all this stuff because it's all so insanely easy to find and there are tons of fetish accounts and "trading" accounts, it's really nasty. It's adults that get off on talking to young kids and posting gross images on a platform that is FOR young kids, and also kids/teens that are trying to act way too grown up and getting caught up in some seriously disgusting situations with other people. Whether it's using nsfw games for attention, "trading", creepy roleplays, or even creating a roblox "friend group" or "fan base" on discord and then adults (even if they're just 18 or 19) talk to children like there's no age difference when there is. It's so obvious that it's happening, and seeing roblox's stupid advertisements with their ugly blob characters makes me even more upset.

It’s so sad seeing Roblox go down this dark path. I’ve been reading and replying to comments, seeing how many people had this as their childhood. It makes me feel angry and sad for what Roblox is doing, they’re careless about their actions and don’t care for others.

FYI these users typically open files in Roblox Studio and invite them VIA the "Collaboration" or "Team Create" feature so that they can privately go into a game with absolutely no way of being moderated.

I mean, last time it got brought to news attention it didn't really do much. Most people know Roblox is a den of depravity, and just don't care enough to do anything about it. At this point, we all know Roblox is just taking advantage of children. They barely pay creators, barely support them and skim so much money as Robux tax or price hikes. Throw in what's effectively no moderation on top of that, and you have an anarchistic children's platform that rakes in cash without making effort to even ensure their servers can handle players, let alone be a safe space.

reminds me of the labor situation of the saltpeter mines where workers were paid with pieces of cardboard to buy food and stuff, and since they didn’t get a lot of income at the end of the month they had to pay more than the amount owned and couldn’t leave the mines, not even to exchange or trade these cardboards with other mines

Been thinking the same, since 2019 this corporation has been going worse, the 17 games, the change of guis, less community friendly, extremely more toxic community (more then before despite there were also.) makes me wish to see the stock failing rather then see this app my childhood keep going worse.

I can second this. One time I was looking for a roblox game that was just titanfall2. All I typed in was “Atlas”, and the first thing was project atlas, which was what I wanted to see (the Titanfall 2 game in question), but the rest were just so many questionable games that had nothing to do with the word atlas (atlas wasn’t in the title of any of them). Roblox moderation really needs to step up.

Y'know I used to love Roblox when I saw younger but seeing all the things that has happened with Roblox recently especially with you which I've only just started watching your channel like a year before the lawsuits but knowing how they really are has changed my opinion on Roblox and it's sad too like the only good things I have about were my days growing up with it, well at least I had fun.

I envy any alternate reality or universe where game companies actually care about their community. Just imagine a world where that was the case

I'd actually really love a fan-made spiritual successor to Roblox (something like Blockland) made by a group that actually cares about moderation. Kinda hope that happens someday. There are still games that I enjoy, personally on ROBLOX. The game is fine, the company is not. If ROBLOX gets bought out (which it probably won't since David Bazooka's intentions is to blow up the whole site instead of improving it) then ROBLOX will take a step in the right direction. The company has lost the very thing it was made for: joy. There are so many good employees at ROBLOX, yet it just HAS to be ruined. HAS TO be ruined by a few bad actors in the midst. I would like to think that ROBLOX is saveable, but it just looks like it ISN'T.

Yesterday I joined a game called SUS Hangout bc I wanted to know what sus meant in that context cause like I can handle some weird stuff... I regretted it pretty fast and then I regretted it even more when I discovered it was impossible for me to leave the game as it would just relaunch itself every time I tried to close out... I had to restart my PC-

Hey Ruben. I had this video playing in the background while I was playing TDX, carrying this new player. He was obviously very young(the way he talked, the other games he like to play and just overall the way he acted) and as I had this video in the background I thought about this kid I was playing Roblox with. What if he was being groomed in Roblox, and was in danger, if some sick degenerate wanted to get their hands on this kid. I thought about that thanks to your video and it inspired me to talk to him about this problem. I asked him if he was being safe online and if people weren’t trying to talk to him about inappropriate things(limited by Roblox chat filter) and if he was safe, I told him about how Roblox moderation was getting worse and that he needs to be careful about who he talks to and not to give personal information. I told him that Roblox was getting infested with gross creeps that like children(he was a child so I couldn’t rip into those disgusting creeps too much) and that if he feels someone is trying to groom him to talk to his parents and that his parents would always be there for him, that even if they were annoying that they cared about his safety dearly that he could talk to them if he was unsafe online. He related to what I was talking about, mentioning how he was disgusted with how degenerate Roblox was becoming(21+ games bad communities etc). I wanna say thank you for making me think about this in such a way I otherwise never would’ve thought about, and for giving me the urge and feeling of necessity to make sure this kid was safe online and that if he was being groomed, that he should talk to his parents about it. I think videos like these really encourages people to not only be more careful online, but also to talk about being safe online. To make sure that their friends are safe online and aren’t being targeted by some sick scum. I also told my mum about how degenerate Roblox was and the pedophilia problem on it and how Roblox moderation was so bad, that we shouldn’t let my young sibling on their. She agreed after I made my argument, we got rid of Roblox on my siblings iPad. Thank you so much Ruben Sim for urging me to take action and to make sure people I know, from my own sibling to some simple random kid I met online, are safe and not being targeted on Roblox, and alerting them to the horrors of Roblox degeneracy and how to avoid being groomed and to talk to their parents if they are being groomed. Thank you so much Ruben Sim. You really are one of the best actors in the Roblox community, and I’m so glad you make content to raise awareness to this to make sure children are safe online or even getting parents to not let their kids online(which I believe is the best option for parents as I wish I didn’t grow up with the internet). I know that you put a comedic spin on these problems, but they really help raise awareness and stop these degenerate scum, with a tone of comedy in these videos. Thank you Ruben Sim.
