Whoever the mod was read the chatlogs from the report, saw their username, and banned me for a day because i said i didnt like their username. I logged onto another account to see if they also got banned, and they were still in game

Funny enough, some people _might_ default to that argument. _However, it is entirely misplaced._ (No hate to the comment's OP.) Even if they do "age up" the platform, they still need to _protect_ their *child* audience. They should be in legal hot water for neglecting and failing to do so. I don't give a fuck if they say "oh, we're making the platform welcoming for all ages." *BULLSHIT.* ROBLOX has a *faulty* content filter that filters out good stuff and fails to filter out bad stuff. They _need_ to _separate their older players from the younger players._ If they do that, I'd be legitimately surprised. This is why I have *no* patience for this company anymore. (Sorry for the heated comment. No hate towards anyone, though I may be reluctant to side with Roblox.)

This is what happens in a society where we prioritize profit over everything else.

I was playing Royale High recently and there were these two people with very inappropriate display names. One of them was, "cumdumpster" and the other was "suckmynuts." Tbh, the main reason I reported them was because they were online dating and harrassing kids. They even bypassed filter. When I told them that I reported them, they got so angry at me and started ranting off about how "immature" i was and that I should get a life, etc. It was wild. And there was like 3 people there supporting those weirdos and telling me that I should grow up and that I caused a scene. It's true I shouldn't have told them that I reported them, but people weren't even mad at me for telling them, they were mad at me for reporting them. Many people, except for the actual kids that they were targetting, told me that nobody cared. I haven't even checked their profiles to see if they were banned or anything, but I still reported them, and blocked the people who were supporting them. I even remember being younger and having this happen to me. I reported those people, and I was the only one who got banned for telling them to stop. It was such an uncomfortable experience. Another similar thing happened in a DDLC roleplay when I morphed as Yuri, the purple haired one. Some dude told me to go somewhere private with them and roleplayed inappropriate things. All i remember was running away. Another thing about the royale high thing, was that this one purple haired girl that was supporting those weirdos, told me she was going to block and report me for a loser, and even called me a trash can, and other names. I didn't get banned thankfully, but seriously, it's crazy that nobody even batted an eye.

The amount of pedophile and predators in this community is insane 💀.

Because he's a danger to their plan to earn many $$$. You see there's many kids in the world who play Roblox, and the owners choose to earn more money by making their company public, but having a guy who helped a guy Chinese know the truth, wasn't so cash money in the eyes of China, which has the biggest market for consumers, which means lots of $$$ for Roblox. So as a result they took legal action, which they had to temporarily drop (I might be wrong on the legal stuff). He also makes the company sound less worth investment since no investor wants to be tied to a platform filled with pedos. They hate him because in their opinion: if it wasn't for him they could be earning so much more money. Doing the right thing isn't usually doing the profitable thing. Many good people lose out on lots of $$$ to make the world a better place.

You have no idea how hard I tried to attack that group.. to the point where they implemented a system where they started sifting new members to avoid me posting! I did my best to get several others to report it and the people in there.. and as far as I'm aware the group is gone. The Discord server they own I bet is still up though.. they knew who I was and got rid of me immediately. Hopefully this brings some light to the situation that many are unaware of.

I left Roblox at a good time. Seeing the hellscape it has become today makes me feel lucky that all I had to deal with were at least slenders and cringe roleplayers. Remember when slenders were a thing? Roblox is unfortunately reaping the consequences to this day, and with the recent changes, the people they’re putting in charge, and the plans for the site, I’m very glad I’m no longer apart of the community. Only one ticket, and we have only scratched the surface with so much. Brings me back memories when I was a young poop brain child playing Roblox back in like 2017, and I got invited to an unlisted game and when I joined I remember there being a literal genital as a fountain and multiple decals around the map teaching anyone who joins, how to do inappropriate shit. It's been years, and idk how I even remember this.

@@ryb_idk Alcohol references being 17+ restricted seems more like being overbearing to me, unless games ratings systems follow this (it comes off more like the sort of thing I'd see being 13+ restricted). I would have preferred if being a 17+ restricted game was solely for graphic violence and very heavy themes rather than a game immediately being age restricted over characters being in a relationship (not players, I mean characters in a story) or someone mentioning alcohol. What I did know is that overt sexual/adult content is still technically not allowed no matter what, but we don't know if things will stay the same, and obviously Roblox isn't doing a great job getting rid of that sort of content as seen here.

I’ve been playing Roblox since 2013, I would say I’ve experienced this type of stuff but that stuff back then wasn’t even as bad as this now. After looking in deep going to a lot of those accounts you shown I’m pretty sure someone caught on due to a lot of those groups got either deleted or went private. The first account you shown changed her display but kept her Username, due to that I went deep diving again find a lot of more groups and weird people in those there’s a lot to uncover in those groups. But I’m glad you’re still trying to fix a huge ass problem that a multi billionaire won’t even touch.

How is a community of adults better at moderating a platform for kids, than the actual moderators themselves :/

My theory is that they dont care, and they're a culture of weirdos. Why else would they be talking about adding dating to roblox? And not even for 18+, they want it to be 17+.

The worse thing is that I was expose to this stuff when I was 11 years old and I got addicted to it which is terrible I lost my childhood because of this and I regret being apart of this community where they like to do stuff like this and wish I got out of it sooner. I have been playing Roblox for 8 years now. And I can absolutely agree that nothing in this video is exaggerated and/or made up, I've seen these things happen constantly on Roblox and they do bare minimum to fix it. Edit: I read replies and I think ppl are misunderstanding what I meant by when I said I've seen this, I'm not talking about trolls on Roblox, I'm talking about over the years I have seen hundreds of people getting in trouble on Roblox for grooming, it's ridiculous theme that's been re-occurring a lot since 2018/19 but it's been happening on a lower scale before that.

I am not lying when i say this: i went to a random Korean server with a board that lets you write any image id to make that image appear (i dont even know how to read korean, i just went there to see why people were playing that) and some idiot just thought it would be funny to put nsfw images on the board nonstop, and i had to remove the images every time he did that. And when did that happen? Two days ago. TWO DAYS.

this shit always fucking pisses me off for so many god damn reasons but one of the main things is because, i develop roblox games and i often create my own assets, music for stuff to use in my games, and so many times i get warnings/2 day bans for stuff that isnt even bad but these accounts, shirts, groups, and games get by, I mean seriously come on, and with roblox's recent choices I wouldnt be surprised if they're gonna start supporting this disgusting degenerate behavior.

A very wise man said If we dont stand up for what we think is right then we cant complain when it all goes wrong. I am very happy knowing that people like Ruben are standing up when it gets tough and putting their foot down.

I found a pretty obvious roblox child grooming ring on discord and gathered evidence for a week before presenting it to discord for them to just say theres nothing they can do and that they don't see anything wrong with the server. I gave up and just recently went to see if the server still existed and sure enough its still up

I genuinely enjoyed playing grab the child when it was still around. I remember finding out his account was deleted and i was sad about it, mostly cause i was younger, unknowing to what he did, and wanted to have more updates to the game. This is terrifying to know that any game dev, even one that made your favorite game, could do things like this.

They really should just set up a system similar to the TF2 Workshop Even when bad stuff appears it either never rises up for anyone to see it and give it the attention required to be put in, it goes high enough that the moderators notice it and take it down, and most importantly it NEEDS MODERATORS PERMISSION. As someone who at least had a basic understanding of coding, it won’t even be too hard as they already essentially have the features necessary, it would just take like a month of backend rearranging to do.

What i find most disturbing is that uploading tshirts is completely free, and anyone can do it, all you need is a photo editing software and some free time

Roblox's filter for chat messages is so ass. You could say literally any number of pornographic, pedophilic, or slur-based phrases or words.. and they pass without a sinche. The shareholders don't care, unless a mass amount of parents start filing lawsuits against the company. Since that effects cash flow. Honestly, i'm shocked to not even hear of parents doing anything to roblox. Sure there's the gambling cases that are probably going to go nowhere, but that's literally it. Parents of victims need to form some kind of group to pull resources together and make a change. Ruben can only do so much to help a site owned by people willing to let millions of children be hurt (or worse) to keep up revenue.

I mean, it feels as if progress with addressing such a serious issue as child sexual abuse on the platform has been very slow and minimal over the past few years, so I'd imagine it'd be really frustrating for anybody in that position.

Thank you so much to you and your team for trying to make roblox cleaner. When I first joined the inappropriate stuff wasn't as strong, but now I just get so angry how worse roblox has gotten.

8:28 TLDR: Roblox Hashtags prevent players from reporting inappropriate usernames because the username is censored in the player search bar. Don’t forget that if you know of a person who should not have a roblox account because of their actions or name you sometimes cannot search up their roblox username because it gets blocked out by hashtags so you can’t even report the player if they have left your game.
