I had a go in this machine in the U.K. with the U.K. distributor. Amazing machine, oodles of power, seats very comfortable, space, light. And that rotor bounce is gone, don’t know what they did but it’s an amazing improvement on the B206. A great aircraft. 😊

I absolutely love Bell helis. From the good old Huey to the modern Jet Rangers, no wonder they are a solid choice for law enforcement, SAR, coastguards and other government agencies across the globe. And the interior just looks so much more comfortable than the little Robinson's tiny cabin.

Love video, and have watched many on the 505 , in time I will own one ...

I think I saw T7-BELL and C-FAGV earlier this year in formation over Munich, great sight. Probably about the same time you recorded this video. Loved to see the touch and go at Jesenwang, such a cool little airfield. Hope we will get a 505X in MSFS some day, so I can at least fly it in the simulator.

Luv the sound of any 2-blade rotor.

Wow Bambi, I'm happy to see you flying in a Bell 505 Jet Ranger helicopter. Bambi, You can learn to drive a helicopter very quickly as much as you learned to drive the planes.

I see helicopter, I press like repeatedly for hours! Amazing! Not the first time I see a demo of the 505 so knew alot about already but still, amazing, I prefer the look of the old 206 generation but I get why they have gone this route with it, if I ever stumble up on boatloads of money, I'll have a fleet of these! ;) Until then, I'll have to be happy with flying on simulators at home! ;) I have a 206 to fly, no 505 yet! :P

Which turbo shaft engines have you experienced lag with?

I prefer the nose on the older Jet Ranger, I won't deny that the new nose offers better visibility though.

I have thought about that experience....

I see and hear one once in a while. And I am amazed how very noisy it is. No change to the 50 year old 206 ... .

Mad props on crashworthy passenger seats. Hope they offer an upgrade from the deadly 4-point harness to a 5-point harness for the front seaters. The AS-350 doesn’t offer the Crashworthy passenger seats.

The essential configuration remains, no improvement on the vibration exitation process, changes are as can be observed just cosmetic, externally. Equippment upgrade is only of secondary importance.

I would love to fly one. I would buy one, use it to get my add-on, then fly it everywhere around the middle part of the US. All I am missing is the money. Oh well, everyone has a dream. Thank you and be safe.
