Master Mold seems like the perfect card to start as a series 4 drop. Wouldn't break anything, fun card for people to experiment with. Not the sort of card to lock behind Series 5. They really need to change the stance of everything releases at Seriea 5.

Regis absolutely losing it at his own iceman pun is the highlight of my day.

you could sub out Polaris, Iceman and Scorpion for Darkhawk, Zabu and Rockslide for a nice double threat as well. Also more cards open up for the double play on turn 6 that way as well.

got back into snap heavy and had never looked into the KZread side of it. Glad to say I did and happened to find your channel love the content

Didn’t expect Master Mold to have such a need ability visual effects! Hope they add sound effects soonish as well even tho seeing Agatha Harkens doesn’t give me much hope

It’s nice to hear you being nice to people getting to infinite for the first time with the meta decks. I myself started playing at the end of Surfer season and hit infinite with Shuri/Red Skull. Im glad I can put the meta deck aside now and mess around with Nimrod and stuff

Hard agree on the Leech power comment. In the leech/leader meta I thought leech was subpar. They were taking a huge tempo hit to play leech in a deck that always wanted priority. Now, in thanos, leech gets ramped on turn 4 and also thrown back into the deck for a better card or a stone which replaces itself.

Master Mold has pretty cool looking art too

Bouncing mastermolds with beast would be fun. I have him in the token shop and I have enough tokens but kind of want to either get teenage warhead or kitty pryde when they come out.

@@YakultLitro agreed. Still want to wait a bit. Last month got stature and haven't really used her much despite her being very good in theory. More or less learned my lesson about judging the power of a new card without evidence first. ATM, I am s4 complete, and I've got Thanos, Galactus, Kang, stature, and sauron. So really just sitting on my tokens to wait for something special. Kitty pryde might be that card though I might wait for some of the April releases too, since I really love movement decks.

Around the 9:30 mark you mentioned that you would snap if you were on ladder. Aren’t the only modes ladder and battle, or have I been missing a casual mode that doesn’t affect rank this entire time…

He's referring to the fact that since he already hit infinite on ladder and he can't drop out of it, that he would rather play without snapping so his opponent stays. He cares more about getting videos than snapping just for his opponent to retreat. Since once he hits infinite he can't drop out, he uses that time to play goofy decks and such since he has the freedom to. Hope that helps

Black Widow actually gives them a smaller hand if played any turn other than 6 (and we definitely have better things to do on 6). She keeps them from drawing a card and gives them a 0 mana card to dump instead. Widow is good for Darkhawk because cards stay in the deck. She is bad for Ronan because cards stay in the deck.

Seems like a cool deck. Can't wait for master mold to drop to pool 3!

Throw in a quinjet instead of iceman or korg. Then you might be able to play aero plus mystique or Ronan+ mystique after a moon girl. Turn 6

To know how much Master Mold makes a difference, maybe try it in a game against Snapster?

Aero is definitely more busted and more in need of adjusting than Leech. I think the reason why you don't hear people say that though is that Leech is not really fun for anyone. It's still really fun to dunk on someone with an Aero when you figure out their plan and perfectly block it from happening.

lowkey wish ronan was more viable, its such a cool base card that I only ever see played from x manor or from random pulls

I think you drop mordo or polaris and put in Darkhawk and you've got a solid deck

Hopefully card acquisition gets fixed so I can get this one. I really like it! Maybe a cludder deck with Sentry could be interesting for MM? Use stuff like Sin and Widow and MM to clog up their hand & board.

Too long to set up. Unless you get Zabu or Psylocke for a turn 3 Wong, then a turn 4 Master Mold and scorpion, that still only leaves 2 turns to try and win the rest of the game with very little stats on the board. Also, by that late in the game they probably have enough cards that you can't fill their hand with sentinels, making Master Mold almost a wasted effort

Master Mold/doc oct could be an awful thing to play against

At 32:10 the deck he was facing was so obviously silver surfer but he wouldn't have known if it wasn't for chat. Probably would have misplayed around it too. Nobody is perfect

Token shop dude. Don't wait to pull her from a reserve, I was at similar CL and never pulled her, had like 20 pool 3 cards remaining and she was one of them. I bought her from the shop and started having so much more fun with the game, she really is a necessary evil. Just watch for her in the shop and don't look back

Imagine playing Mold on Wong Mystique, when they have like 2 cards in hand. The opponent will never get cards. 🤣

I absolutely hate Aero more than Leech, though mostly just because Aero shows up much more often. She really needs to be a 6 cost card. She's almost literally the most powerful card in the game and can win games more than any other 5 or 6 cost card. Ridiculous that's she's only a 5.

It's too bad this is series 5. I bet they wouldn't have to nerf Thanos if thos was introduced to series 3.

I think to balance Aero and Leech they just need to change the number of cards affected to give them a bit more RNG. Leech should just depower 2 cards, while Aero should move a random card played that turn, but just one. While they're at it they should change Scorpion too to make him a reverse Nakia, shaving power off the 2 right most cards in your hand, instead of the entire hand.

Those changes would legit just kill all of these cards. Leech is only good since he guarantees to remove powerful effects like death, galactus, shang chi etc. A random 2 out of maybe 4 is not worth a 5/3. Aero moving 1 is just an inverse juggernaut and would therefore be too much at 5/7 and also not worth it. (Both leech and aero are only strong due to the big effect meta cards and how almost no deck aims to fill all locations. Oh and also thanos cheating leech out with lockjaw) Scorpion would probably see almost no play after, its just not worth it as a 2 drop anymore. Nakia isn’t even that good, only in niche decks.

This game is in a terrible position for players who don't have "meta" cards like Thanos, galactus, knull, darkhawk etc. I can't even play 2 matches without one of them being Thanos leech lockjaw second dinner needs to do some balance changes fast before they see a massive drop in there player base I'm sick of playing the same 3 decks every time I'm gonna have to put this game down for a while because it's just not fun anymore

WOW, MASTER MOLD!? I cant wait to literally never play him because he is tier 5 and I have less then 5000 collection level. I really hope they fix this system because Ronan is so cool and Mold just elevates him to the next level.
