The singer Austin Carlisle (no longer in the band) now has the disease that look his mother's life. He has had heart procedures, many surgeries, cancelled tours, many many ups and downs. They made it pretty big, even touring with big names like Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, and Linkin Park. They're still together and doing well with their new singer, but had a different feel with Austin. Hoping you react to more Of Mice & Men!

For a scream! A lot of screaming vocals kind of can get bland sounding or just like a wall of noise sometimes but he has such a distinctive tone and inflection on it you just feel it so much more than others. Wild
I’m legitimately jealous of you, watching you experiencing this masterpiece of a song for the first time

I was just thinking the same thing! his smile when shay's voice hit him along with the guitar harmonies. a moment i'll never forget, because it was the first metalcore band i ever heard.
When I was 17 my mother and I were both struggling with depression and she had directly told me she wish she would die. I had instantly grabbed my phone and played this song with the lyrics. It had helped us see life in a new way, even though I had heard this song a million times the lyrics clicked on a deeper level in the love for ones mother. Every time for the last 5 years this song makes me tear up and gives me goosebumps. This song saved my mother and I.

Austin had to leave because his screaming was creating tears in his spinal cord in his neck (probably the most metal injury ever) but it's actually because of Marfan syndrome, it weakens the entire body and prevents it from healing. The clean vocalist here also is no longer in the band, he sang for Dayshell Then Jamie's Elsewhere frontman Pauley joined OM&M as a clean vocalist but since Austin's departure, he took on the task of screaming as well and their new songs are pretty good, but I loved Austin since Attack Attack so Of Mice & Men is not the same to me, still good but Austin's vocals are just unique and amazing

One of my favorite song from them, this part where he starts screaming "COME BACK..." hits me hard as well as I've lost my father when I was 10. He's right, I often asked if he'll be proud of me or if he's smiling watching over me. I feel like I'm over it now but still sometimes shits happen and it reminds me of this.

When I learned to appreciate screams more I ended up really liking this song. I can also relate to the song because my mom left my Dad and me when I was young because she was unfaithful. I’m a drummer and a big reason why I like it is because I could tell quickly the amount of skill and enjoyment in playing this song.
Thanks for the video bro
Thank you so shedding light on our genre of music. Though I’m this song is 10 years old now, I listen to it like it came out yesterday!
Woah, this takes me to my teen years when I was first getting into alternative music. Great vid, Alex!
Great reaction. A good one to checkout is "When a demon defiles a witch" by Whitechapel. Phil Bozeman the lead vocalist had a very messed up childhood losing both of his parents.
The funny thing about this first album by them is that it was rushed. The vocals were quickly recorded and pasted onto the instruments. And it came out like fucking gold. Love it
One of the best concert memories I have came from this song. It was warped tour, oh I don’t know, 8 years ago? The song ended and asked to sing the ending one more time. There’s music playing all around you, but all you could hear was a couple hundred people screaming that at the top of their lungs with Austin. Still gives me goosebumps!
Always the support brotha. Keep it going!! I seen it live warped tour. Everyone cheering the chorus. Made austin cry. Truly an amazing song and the best from them. Favorite band before austin LEFT . Sad day but always gonna be in my top screamers list.
So if we are going to go back this far then make sure to stop at BlesstheFall "Guys Like You Make Us Look Bad"

Daniel Radke Yes definitely one of BTF’s best songs ever
As i lay dying - through struggle!
ive been listening to this song for years and only for the first time have i looked up the lyrics to it. Ive never been more broken over a song in my life, it really hits home. January 1st of 2017 my dad went into the hospital (just 6 days after i turned 14) and he was there for almost 11 months before eventually passing away. He missed all of my highschool years and the struggle that was, me getting my first job, my graduation and so much more, this song does a beautiful job of putting what that feels like into words. nothing shy of a 10/10
I cry everytime I hear this song let alone watching the music video. The lyrics and video hits me like "all fathers were young boys with youthful dreams once in their life" and at his death bed, I saw it in my father's eyes and I was like "if only i could give you back and make you experience again the youth you had Papa". No! I'm not crying.. You are!

Living Colour- Cult of Personality
Thank god for metalcore
Thank you for the offer to be there for all of us. It's not easy for most to reach out when going down the road of getting kicked hard by depression. So yeah, thank you
I never knew this before a few months ago when I watched an interview Austin did but he lived in Lehigh Acres, FL. This song title is derived from an intersection of Sebring circle and 2nd st east. Can’t believe I live 20 mins from where the legend himself grew up
Check out "Imminence - infectious", you won't be disappointed

Es una de canciones preferidas. El violin, la guitarra se complementan vorazmente

This song is EVERYTHING! That violin soothes my soul and makes every hair stand on end.
