I think that is also part of why they left Good Good. As entertaining as that is, it's a bit Frat Boy for guys that take the sport a little more seriously from a traditional sense. I love both aspects, but I especially felt Grant was getting a bit over the more silly challenges. They are more the Bryan Bro's end of the spectrum than Dude Perfect.

He's a good lad. I've been a fan from the day we met at The Kingdom. 190 ball speed is a rare bird so it's fun to be connected for sure.

That is what a real fitting looks like, we don’t get this service as amateurs, we get a sales pitch for the driver the fitter wants to sell us, and a selection of stock shafts.

Unfortunately, 99% of fittings arent this dialed in. This is a relatively famous golfer with TMs top fitter. Good luck getting this at your local pro shop.

Good luck getting a fitting like this. Most of these fitters literally could not care any less about the player in-front of them. They're usually checking their watch making sure they stick to the time frame and then ask for payment.

thanks for this, the in- truck explanation of the tools, weights, etc. realy enlightens people about the fitting process, and the science behind it.

Trottie is absolute top class. When I worked for TM in Boston, I worked a tour event on the truck with him and Wade. The knowledge he has is unreal. He was so gracious to me and allowed me to build some clubs and sit in on a few fits with tour players. Great to see him dial in Micah and allow him to go at it full blast with his desired shot shape

Im glad he corrected the aligning shafts.. when Micah said starting left.. he was set up for a push or straight ball at best. When ya angled am towards the left side of the fairway… you were money. Fades go frm left side to center of fairway. I see so many players fade from center to right rough. Its an easy fix…

Tig, I really thought your club head speed would be in the mid 130s. Maybe it’s just me but to get those numbers with mid 120s club head speed is unreal. Great video.

The dude who fit my irons in Vancouver was dialing in the weight to the sticker. By sticker I mean that little kbs sticker you get on the shaft

I almost quit golf after back surgery because I just couldn't hit it as far as I used to. In a desperate attempt I went and got fit for the first time. Long story short I went from 260 carry to 285 carry. That Ventus TR red is no joke. Mine's in 6s though. LOL

So which shaft did you end up in? Is that the TR or the regular Ventus Red? And what were the final specs (length, tip cut, etc.)

Effortless looking swing speed 126+ mph without a huge long backswing. Beautiful efficient swing. And kudos to Trottie for figuring out a way to keep him in the red shaft profile with that speed. Seeing these fades in a ventus red at Micah’s speed spin less than 2k is wild. Now I have to google tipping effects on torque. And then the techy tinkerer in me wants to find a way to get access to test non standard tipped shafts like these guys without buying them all first lol.

Micah ,watching other YT golfers and a Tiger video,Tiger told another golfer to consider how he's lining up to the ball. I think you might want to consider moving back 2 inches. Tiger said it will close the face for you and increase distance. I would love to see you mess around with the lineup a bit.
