What I would really appreciate is a video on how to run a Toyota drive cycle. Knowing if turning on the AC and rear defrost really puts the car in a different mode. Also, is their an order in which the computer prioritizes them. U r our T man he man!! Thank u!!

I dont usually do a lot of drive cycles myself. But I will see what I can do.

Nice stuff, jealous? Absolutely man! Really cool setup and I'm definitely going to be going with IM608 if I can swing it down the road. The EEPROM stuff is a bit above my head (at this point), but now I know who knows how to do it 😁 I think it's definitely worth the money.

Key programming...mo money! Soldering skills...mo money!

I'll need some practice with the soldering iron. I don't have a lot of experience soldering on circuit boards! But it is something that has been interesting me for a few years now!

From my understanding, the software and the tablet is the same. The biggest different is the updated XP400 that improves eeprom functions

@@VoltageDropDiagnostics well i like the autel because if you dont have one already its like a two for one special a full bi directional scan tool and a key programmer. But the auto pro pad i heard is very good at programmer but its data pid list isn't that great but its half the cost of the autel . Im torn between them both

i hope you made a good deal with the boss so not only you get paid but they kick in some each time to help pay for it. i've been down that road before. got burned.

I got it from NC Auto Rescue.

What are the chances that you will email me that default eeprom copy that "virginizes" the chip? I seen you do it in another video-- But I just need the file. Also, do you have an eeprom file for every brand, or is it the same default code for all brands? I seen you do it on a toyota

On Subaru’s when you lose keys on say 2014 ish and newer we have to send certain modules to Subaru to have them clear is this the case with you guys as well? I wonder if this will be able to help me with that I’d have to do some research.

Voltage Drop Diagnostics thank you for taking the time to research its a pain for us to remove modules sometimes and wait on Subaru but it seems its the only way for now

Pat is there any material, websites or KZread channels you recommend demonstrating the use of the Autel IM 508, 608, or 608 pro maximizing the use of its potential? I know that you intend to make videos in the future doing just that.

I’ve been watching locksmith lock and key and pollert immobilizer. For me though. I only speak English and most of the channels utilizing the tool to its full potential don’t speak English like pollert. So i need to be 100% focus on the buttons he is pressing and reading the closed captioning to learn. BUT he is good!

Congrats Bro, indeed it's an amazing feeling, when I got my IM608 I also unboxed it immediately😉 It's an awesome tool for every application, I'm sure you'll enjoy using it for diag & programming👍 Looking forward to some great videos featuring this great tool😉

@@VoltageDropDiagnostics it has been outstanding Love the IM608😍, most of the time I work on European car's & honestly I've been able to perform repairs that only an OE scan tool would do really impressed by it's performance👍 Recently I was able to copy the Flash file through OBD on a Daihatsu, how many scan tool's would do that😉
