can we just talk about how good of a designer Stephanie is? She made exactly what Saf asked, and she looks like she really enjoys the process and making people happy with the clothes she makes

To say, "they are: engaged, betrothed, affianced" makes perfect grammatical sense. To say, "they are married and/or wedded" again, makes perfect sense. "Matrimonied" on the other hand, standing on its own or in context - well, it's not hitting it out of ballpark, that's for sure. It's not making it past the mound ;) Now, "married, wedded, ESPOUSED" not only works, but it is the perfect counterpoint to "affianced".

That's right. I was married, widowed later, remarried later, and never was a traditional bride. At my first wedding, I was married in a lacey burgundy dress with a satin cummerbund and burgundy hat. For my second wedding, my dress was a custom lavender satin. It was a medieval style dress, with satin ribbon criss crossed down the bodice and white ribbon rosettes. The veil was a matching shade of lavender tulle, attached to a headband with flowers. Both of them were beautiful.

Wonpoodle plus the "first look" before cerimony. IMHO: a) no force in nature (or not-natural) could actually dent Saf+Ty relations, so... b) for any couple, not sure adding that "jinx" legends help. As Amari Productions said, a "first look" help to vent out some nerves, gave time for the couple alone for photo and just "adjust" before hordes of relatives and friends start to stampede around, and stress and music and crying and on.

Coming back to rewatch vids while waiting for new ones has been fun tbh, really love Saf’s content. This vid in particular really got me into sewing and customising my own clothing as a hobby during lockdown. The whole process of trial and error, fabrics, cut/style and final product is so rewarding!!! Also more excitement to wear them out and about 😁

rewatching the wedding series again and I feel like I always forget just how absolutely gorgeous both of safiya’s dresses end up being. I mean the ceremony dress... the style, the sleeves, the FABRIC??? truly might be the most beautiful wedding gown I’ve ever seen. and then the reception dress is not only incredible, but just so SAFIYA in literally every aspect it’s amazing. what stephanie and her team created for both of safiya’s gowns is really so impressive

Stephanie is so talented lol she said "gonna check some pinterest" and boom she did it!!

I know I'm late to the party by a lot but I adore the amount of support and exposure these wedding videos have given to so many wonderful creators and business owners. This entire process was so fun to watch!

i love how supportive tyler was! he was hyping her up the whole time!

The final dress is so gorgeous. When Stephanie pulled out the sheer star fabric, I had the thought that this is THE one too. Can't wait for the last video of this series. I really appreciate that you share with us the whole wedding dress making process

Since I have starting taking a cinematography class, I have grown soooo much appreciation for the editing and shooting of every single one of Safiyas videos. They include very small details which make so much better visually and comprehension

I am still rewatching this. I can't stop.

I wore a black leather dress when I got married. My husband wore black leather too. That was in 1990. Still married. We didn’t see this as a “theme wedding” at all. We are just.... Those People. 😂

I got married twice to the same guy in the same year. We eloped to the courthouse. (thin wale white corduroy button front dress styled after the western theme that was popular in the late 80s) Then we got married n a tiny but adorable church on a Navy base that following December. (Full heavy silk satin, portrait neckline, fitted, princess seamed, full skirted ivory dress.) Still married. (29 years married is nothing to sneeze at for either of us.) Congrats on being 'Those People', it sounds like y'all had/have lots of fun.

I cried so much while watching this video. Safiya has brought me so much joy and happiness in these past few years that I’ve been watching her, and she looks so overjoyed and excited which is what she really deserves. Tyler, take good care of her.

That black dress is stunning. And you could wear it at another black tie event. It's a real stand out.

This video is so wholesome!! Ty being super supportive and excited, Stephanie being an amazing designer (and you crediting her), Christie being a great supporter and helping you all find what you want for your wedding, fabric shops giving you time and samples and you shouting out their shop as helpful and interesting… I just love this video so much.
