😯 Oh wow and oh my goodness, am I the only one here that misses these times or what and am I the only one that wishes we can go back to the '80s again. These were such great and wonderful times and memories, also the greatest entertainment we had back then too. It's a shame today, can't be like the '80s. Today in this day and age music and the entertainment stinks, nothing back like when we were all kids or teenagers and that is for sure. Anyway some kind of wonderful movie and the soundtrack is awesome

I could not believe it when I saw this movie in 87, shot near by grandmothers home in wilmington. and parts of san pedro california.

I drove a teal '69 mini in England in the early '80s. It was crap and I loved it.

Favorite movie of all time.

Feel nb soooo good after listening to this . Shut my eyes I’m back in Azad video shops I worked in late 80s , in Scotland , watching John Hughes / brat pack films all day .

FFL had three FM radio classics on their debut album. Three songs that stay with me no matter where I go or how old I get. I Go Crazy. Postcards from Paradise and Sooner or Later. I was 13 at the time and FFL was just edgy enough to get me into the Replacements and pop/new wave enough to fit along side my love for INXS, Modern English and The Alarm. All these bands have those magical tracks that touch something deep in you that lasts. A good memory? A perfect moment? Whatever it is, celebrate it and keep them in your heart. It’s the soundtrack of your life.

c'mon. these people ARE attractive - perhaps, not runway model material, but most of the hollywood actresses today couldn't be standard fashion models. moreover, they look like they're in their 20's (with the exception of mary stuart masterson). so the casting in this movie is a bit absurd when i look back on it.

Of course they are attractive. I was just saying they are attractive in a believable, "boy/girl next door" way), they are attainable and realistic looking every day people. Eric Stoltz should of been the 80s poster boy for teenage girls because he was extremely handsome in this film and certainly could of been a runway model if he wanted to lol. I couldn't recognise him in Pulp Fiction though, but that was a good few years later and he had grown a beard.

Whilst a song by 4 goth gloomers from Brixton (London) might seem an odd choice, it worked better in the movie than as a song in its own right (well IMO, anyway). As you know, John Hughes wrote the screenplay and also directed FB's Day Off, Breakfast Club and 16 Candles - 4 cracking "teen" movies. Thank you very much.

Can't find this on any album on Spotify. I am guessing this was released on a 45 RPM, maybe a bit rare but it might turn up on eBay. Many of their tracks on Internet radio sites such as Flashback Alternatives are very hard to track down, but perhaps Flesh for Lulu could be considered underrated even by 1980s standards. "I Go Crazy" (their longer version) was on the radio before (in my area), think it was in the late 1990s, if my memory serves.
