And it could mean different things depending on culture. Pronouns fall under gender because it’s basically a social title. Sex is what organs you have. Gender is what you refer to yourself. Does that make sense? Sex is the hardware, gender is the software. Most of the time you have a MAC, you boot it up to have it be a MAC, sometimes you have a MAC and you boot it up to find out it’s running Windows. It may physically be a MAC, but it doesn’t change that it’s running Windows.

Pronouns aren't gender. Some languages have gendered pronouns, others don't In my language, we don't have gendered pronouns, they are all neutral. Pronouns are for removing personality and identity in order to make a sentence shorter. Ex. Jessica told her friends to visit her house and meet her mother. Without pronouns, it becomes. Jessica told Jessica's friends to go to Jessica's house and meet Jessica's mother. Pronouns shorten sentences by depersonalizing names and removing designated identity since its more convenient. Language is all about convenience for better communication, it is a principle of basic Grammar, you learn it in elementary. That is why I am so confused why so many people think pronouns are part of gender identity when they are neither. In English or other gendered languages, they denote he or she in order to distinguish biological sex. That is why "he/she" is used in a THIRD person description. (i.e I saw a woman I havent met before, SHE is sitting in the lobby.) In English, you do not use he/she when referring to yourself, you use I, my, me, mine, which has no gender. These people who invent their own pronouns to express their gender identity has zero understanding of how grammar or pronouns works. edit: someone actually argued with me that pronouns have nothing to do with grammar and that we should stop teaching proper English before realizing how horrendously stupid they sounded so they deleted all their comments lol 🤣
