IJsselmeervogels being up there in the last update just sent me. Currently they are a lower third-tier club, being one of the most famous amateur clubs (don't know if they still are amateurs) in the country, with one insane cup run in the mid-1970s. Absolutely beautiful.

Wonder what would happen if you flipped the National League and the Premier League. At the same time you can see how the Prem teams fight through the League to get back to the top flight AND see how the non-League teams deal with Prem and CL money

I think money would not mean much because club reputation really low, hence, top player would not want to join regardless of money

Being from Nijmegen, its really funny to see NEC winning the league and especially the cl! Not something we will probably ever see irl. Thanks for the awesome vid!

Wales means Wales! Add Swansea City, Cardiff City, Newport County, Wrexham and Merthyr Town to Welsh League. Give Welsh League a generous TV deal. Let's see how far they can climb the coef table in 100 years 👍🏻

I'll see if I can get something like that working! I'm sure it's possible but unsure how I'd go about getting it to work right now, I know there were a lot of issues when I tried to move a club from Gibraltar to Spain (although it did work in the end)

@@TomFMProbably a couple of hours on the editor job. Moving teams about and replacing teams with appropriate replacements.Just make sure you add them to the Welsh FA and League cups. If you do mange to do it. Am sure it would be a popular DB if you shared it.

@@TomFM Could even try to create a 16 team league in the editor with adding the 5 exiles into the Welsh prem and moving one of the current North walian teams down to the Cymru North (North section of the second division), seeing as one of the teams has been booted out the league (Bangor City)

just got back from NEC Nijmegen, the Goffertstadion is a beautiful little ground, situated inside a public park. great to see them have a little spell of titles :D

As a NEC fan it's nice to know that with some proper investions we can finaly win a Champions League after losing multiple finals the coming 100 years

Amazing experiment! Very entertaining to see how Dutch clubs performed as they are a nation with past greats and Ajax is among the most historical clubs in the world. If possible though, for future experiments if you could show us the European coefficience ranking every now and then. It makes us see how they perform as a whole rather compared to just if they reached the final. For next time you do a similar experiment, can you try a country that is not in E.U. (or one that associates with E.U. like England, Switzerland e.t.c.)? Countries that are not in E.U. are easier to keep players. Perhaps giving them good youth rating as well to get them producing their own players as well as buying new ones.

Love these type of videos. Would like to see what happens when you give a team the best youth categories but under a transfer ban for 100 years

These experiments are so cool. Would love to see what happens in a non-European league like Australia or Canada to see whether the dynamic youth ratings combined with the funds helps them compete internationally as well as winning Club World Cups

Idk if you’ve tried it but swap all of the TV deals in the English top 4 leagues (league 2 get the biggest and the PL get the lowest), could be interesting

Just wondering, what level of detail do you have your saves on when you do these? Every league in Europe as playable I'm assuming, and with all competitive matches on, or at least every top flight, to get good simulation of all the different stages and not just have the big rep teams always filter to the top.

As a Dutch I see a lot of second tier teams in the Eredivisie. Also IJselmeervogels are semi-pro irl. They play on the fourth level in the Netherlands. NEC being dominant is quiet funny. They normally have problems staying in the Eredivisie. I also saw some third tier clubs as well at some point. If this were a woman’s league experiment then the Netherlands would definitely dominated the world because they are already very high in the rankings atm.

everytime he does one of these saves where he gives every top flight club a bunch of money, and one of those teams gets relegated and cant get back up, I just imagine the board sacking their manager every 3 months.

Funny thing; Feyenoord made plans to build a new stadium, which was hated by passionate supporters and even leading to physical abuse to one of the planmakers. In the end there is no plans for the foreseeable future that a new stadium is coming, even if they are (meaby) better of doing so. So the game is right with not moving them to a new stadium!

As a Feyenoord fan, it's going to be tough to stay there for the next 100 years. It would at least need to be renovated by then.

Add a TV deal in Finances for each club, you can normally select all the club's in a league to speed it up. It's easy enough if you've ever used the pre-game editor before

I like it!

Quite a funny feature of FM; you made the Dutch league wealthier than they historically were, yet the teams have become far less successful than they were in the last 50 years. Especially odd for the top3, who until now won 11 european titels between them. Surely one would expect if the one advantage- money- other big European clubs have over them was nullified, they'd catch up or possibly overtake them?

I would be curious if you did The turkish league or Portugal
