They actually don't look out of place at all. I've been wanting modulars but it's such a money commitment that jumping in is overwhelming, but this proves you can modify some other stuff to fill in a city.

SO FREAKIN' GOOD! You really knocked this one out of the park! I've been waiting for this MOC and it definitely didn't disappoint. Everything looks authentic and proper, true to both the original set and the modular building line. There are so many amazing details, but my favorite single bit has to be how you incorporated the tree into Unity Street.

Thanks! I enjoy modulars and building some customs, so there will be some more of these in the future.

I actually find these a lot more appealing than the Jazz club! I ended up skipping out because the color palette isn't to my liking, but if these were an official set I'd have been sure to pick it up.

The color scheme is definitely not for everyone. But I'm also convinced that if the design, build, and overall aesthetic is good enough, people will buy it. So I'm curious to see if Lego drops another Friends modular in 2024.

I love videos like this one! I recently started building MOCs, and I learn a lot from watching other people. I really enjoyed listening to/watching you problem solve when you ran into issues or part shortages.

Thanks! They're growing on me, especially after seeing them next to some other modulars.

Bookshop / Customs / Hotel worked the best for me, I think because the glass and blue of the design shop is similar to that in the small art gallery.

Good point. I really like the Design Shop next to the Hotel as well. In our modular city overhaul (next video), I place those two together.

This was absolutely AMAZING. You’ve got a new dedicated follower. I bought two sets and the rebrickable instructions to do something similar. They used just the two sets and I have a limited inventory. Any chance you release instructions with a part list. That tree in the middle put it over the top!!

Hahah, I was inspired to watch it by the Rivendell set. Also, it was a great way to keep time. I also like the redesigns. The colors aren't too bad and are in line with some recent modulars that used bolder colors. I'm working on combining these new ones with official modulars and they look pretty interesting next to one another.

@@buildingtogether4171 Personally I haven't made any instructions but I hear that bricklink studio has a good instruction creator. I am not sure if you have to make your model in studio to use their instruction creator. In the meantime, I have subscribed so I will know when you make the instructions.
