Sure. Regardless, I've only ever promoted products I believe in. I'm a huge fan of the natural aspects of the beard growth kit. Minoxidil has given me heart palpitations, affected my asthma, given me rashes, and is miserable to use in my opinion. I've never had a single side effect with the beard growth kit. Money or no money, I stand by it! Best beard products I've ever used hands down.

my facial hair looks really similar to yours and I've been doing it for 2 years now. I think after the first 6-7 months, there was just genuinely no improvement. but hey I can now trim without a guard and give off the illusion like I can grow some facial hair but choose not to. I don't think without minoxidil that I would have the facial hair I do now. But not gonna lie, those reddit posts back in 2020 on minox beards really gave me some false hope. Dudes put it on for 2 months and go from nothing to a giant beard.

Those would be hyperresponders. A little bit of research would've revealed that it's highly unusual but not impossible, that most people should wait a year before seeing results and that there are dials you can turn to move you closer to those hyperesponders. It doesn't have to suck if you can identify the issue and solve it. Here are simple questions to get you started: - Are your DHT levels good to begin with ? If not, linear beard growth won't occur at a satisfactory rate no matter how much minox your pour on it. A DHT gel might help then - Are your testosterone levels good enough ? Testosterone is critical for body hair follicle priming. Without enough of it, your beard will never be dense enough, no matter how much minox you use - Are your hair follicles even sensitive enough to produce minoxidil sulfate (the active form of minoxidil) once the product gets there ? If not, tretinoin will be a huge boost - Are you dermarolling right ? - Are you aware that you can use castor oil orally to boost your results and improve hair quality (and possibly improve the rate of conversion to terminal hair) ? -... Be methodical and patient. I had a similar issue and it went away as soon as I added tretinoin and dermarolling to my routine. I didn't even need to explore the other improvement options.

Hey man! How is it going now? Were you able to get any good progress with this growth kit? I wonder if there is anything in this world that can work better or comparably good as Minoxidil concerning a beard growth. I used Minoxidil for 3 months and then got a side effect so I had to discontinue. Got some visible gains though. I don't want to stop so I am looking for other products that could give a result without side-effects. Currently I'm going to use a 3% peppermint oil (mentha peperrita) diluted with a castor oil.

  • @NickOcheredko

@@oscargiraldojr8823 okay, it's been a while since I wrote my comment. I had to quit Minoxidil because I started having ear ringing (tinnitus). At first I attributed it to something else, but after all I concluded it was the Minoxidil. I read on forums about people having the same side effect that stopped when they quit Minoxidil. So, 3 months after quitting I used other growth products like 3% peppermint oil, dermarolling, but nothing seemed to work. I also noticed that the ringing was still there and I started thinking that it could be not linked to Minoxidil, that I just had it before but didn't notice. I came back to using Minoxidil, twice a day, it's been months 5 for me and I can say that my tinnitus didn't get any worse, but I learned to ignore it, and most of the time it's not there for me. That's it :) The odds that you may get tinnitus are very very low, most known side effects are itching, rash, heart palpitations. I recommend that you start with once a day, then after a while switch to twice a day. Hope it helps!

I know you say "it only looks thick because it's long hair" but regardless it looks good on you! I know your Minox journey has been tough but your face looks a lot more mature than it used to. Personally I haven't minded using Minoxidil, I can't be bothered to put it on sometimes but I always do and the dry time, smell and all that doesn't bother me. I'm 4 months in and I'm very happy with the results so far. I need to get more consistent with derma rolling... I did it consistently for a few months and then haven't bothered for a few months, mostly because it was pulling my hair out and it was getting covered in dry skin. I know this video is pretty much just an ad but still I enjoy hearing from you. 😄 Also your hair looks very similar to my hair right now, been growing my hair out too.

Sure thing! Here's a link to some of the science they have on their site. cphgrooming.com/pages/beard-growth-science Here's a note from the co-founder: Studies find up to +177% of Proliferation Index (compared to not treated cells), showing a higher effect than other growth factors (FGF, VEGF, IGF-1) and in some cases even higher than Minoxidil (+170%). And what that essentially indicates is that it supports a better micro-environment for hair (re)growth while making the bulb connect at the follicle level.

I'm still unconvinced, minoxidil simply has far more evidence of benefit at this point in my opinion 🤷‍♂️. I hope they perform larger studies that study objective metrics (not self-reports). If their product really works they've had 4 years to run larger studies but instead they've poured funding into their marketing budget...

Hey man! So minoxidil does work for hair growth but the reason your beard may appear patchy is because you need to derma roll it as well. Derma rolls are BIG compliment to beard growth serums because they essentially create many tiny cuts on your face with micro needles, allowing hair to grow through them in those tough areas where patchiness is present.

"Minoxidil is a chemical and I don't know what's in it". Uhhh... minoxidil ? 🤦🏻‍♂ In all seriousness, your former protocol was all over the place (as evidenced by the fact that you clearly have the potential for a full beard yet are stuck in limbo after so many years of use. Your problem seems to be lack of discipline, not minoxidil. Most of your issues could be solved with better scheduling (to let the drying process happen unencumbered), actually applying minoxidil twice daily and adding tretinoin + a moisturizer to your routine (for your whole face, including your beard area). Also, dermaroll only once a week but with a 1.5 mm dermaroller (this would also free up a day of the week where you don't have to use minoxidil or tretinoin). For an extra quick to your gains, use castor oil orally (between 1 and 5ml daily, depending on your tolerance) and apply it right after dermarolling. Finally, there are alternative formulations with much better vehicles (fast drying, less irritating,...) than propylene glycol for minoxidil. Research and you shall find 😉
