I admire you, and I appreciate what you do/provide here. I hope this doesn't seem nitpicking, but I just might add that you qualify your statement about catching hairloss early. Yes, no doubt, the sooner the better, but it's definitely not the case that early detection will yield positive results. Nevermind that it takes losing almost a third of one's hair before it even becomes noticeable that one is experiencing loss, early action or late, some just aren't as lucky as others. It's crappy, indeed, but tempering expectations, which I think you did well here for the most part, is important. I am sure you have seen the discourse at the tressless subreddit: despite the science, most laymen discourse around hairloss is not realistic. Finasteride, for example, according to one study, does not lead to improvement in 42.8% of younger men over a ten year period of time. That means that even if it works, a young man, early detection or not, might be looking at the need for a transplant or just letting nature take its course. This is NOT to disparage Fin or users thereof. It's just that, as you mentioned, hair loss is a very difficult thing to experience, and, indeed, for many it's difficult to confront/discuss. We all want hope as much as results. But we are far from being able to really address hair loss consistently. It's like every case is totally unique, despite the numbers. Early detection is better than belated arrival, but loss also progresses at variable rates. Sure, commencing treatment at a Norwood 1 or 2 is preferable to treatment at a 3 or greater. But the rate one moves between Norwood's isn't consistent from person to person.

Hey bro and thank you for such thorough response. I 100% agree with what you're saying, I'm going to pin this comment. When I make these videos I have to cherry pick when I edit what I decide to include in the video and what I decide to disregard to keep it concise, and just this subject you and I are talking about I could delicate to several videos alone. The reason why I say it's better to catch it early is because that gives you more time to experiment with the different hair loss medications that are out there to see how you respond to the medication, as you are saying, we all respond to medication differently. Hence, recognising the problem early, sure may not necessarily mean you can recover it, but it will give you the highest potential to find something that works to reverse it. When you've left it for too long, then time is not on your side and you will have to take action immediately with next to no room to experiment with various hair loss regimens. Although the rates in which people experience hair loss differ, catching it early is always preferable, which is also why I try to bring awareness to people through this channel. And I'm all for people accepting their balding and shaving it off, that for me would be the best outcome, but I also want to offer an alternative :) Thanks for your comment bro! :)
Nice results mate and very well said .. people who are not suffering from hair loss can never understand the vulnerability of a person who is losing hairs .. I just love these kind of videos

Great results are you still on finesteride and minoxidil
Hey, bro. Amazing video. I am also suffering from severe hair loss since last year August and it has been intense that I have lost so much of hair in this period and it is going to be year soon. I have tried many natural remedies till now and there is slight improvement but still it's getting worst than better in terms of the rate of hair loss or hair growth and new hair are very thin as well and falls out. So I would really appreciate it if you could tell me when did you catch your harifall and started going for medications. Did you take one year time and tried natural stuff and then proceeded with medications or did you do it in months? I am planning to start Minoxidil and Finasteride topical solution but I am not sure if I should wait for the one year mark or just start it. Please do respond. It would really be helpful in my hariloss journey.

May I ask ,at what age you started taking finasteride ? . I just turned 19 and I noticed a lot of hair fall and my hair on top has started thinning alot than the sides, I'm worried about the fact that taking it too early it would lose it's efficiency later (like around 10 years) and i still want to maintain my hair till my 40s .

Hey bro, I don’t think that’s the case necessarily, I first took finasteride when I was 24… now I’m almost 28! Hey man, Im currently 21 years old and im a diffused thinner (NW2-3), so im thinning all over my scalp it really depresses me. So im using minoxidil (for 1.5 years) finasteride (1.5 month) But my hairloss just gets worse. So im thinking of other options. A hairtransplant would be really difficult because of the diffused thinning. On the other side i could get a hairsystem But it would make me Even more anxious because it wouldnt be my real hair. The last Option would be getting bald But it would heavily depress me because im just 21. so what is your opinion?
