My knee used to pop when I would extend my leg after bending, one day it wasn't a satisfying pop but rather it was a gnarly crunch. That threw me into the vicious cycle of the bucket handle locking my knee, had to get the meniscectomy to take care of it in 2017 but it was well worth it! I still baby that knee a lot though, even years after surgery which has led to hip soreness, tight hamstrings, etc. Somehow I haven't been able to unlearn the behavior of protecting that knee at the cost of other joints.

Stumbled upon your vids. Heal up quick! And keep pumping out vids. After almost 18 years in, I'm still dialing in my setup. Right now rocking girls g052 shape, jessup, thunder 147's with indy orange bushings, spitfire 52 classic shape.

Bro, I feel your pain here man. I have a torn ACL and torn meniscus of my left knee. Not being able to pop, has sort of made me become king of manuals while riding my board around. I go places with my board now, where as before I skated to do tricks. Now I skate to get places. Never gonna stop skating.

Ben your channel was probably the most enjoyable for me after getting back into skating in my 40’s. There is so much crap out there these days. It’s refreshing to see someone I can relate to be passionate about skating and inspire others to enjoy it. Rest up brother. Here’s to a speedy recovery. Those of us that have tuned in for the long haul aren’t going anywhere. I eagerly await your return. You are one of the real ones man. Thanks for your contributions and your time and for helping us enjoy skating as much as you do. Til the next one.

One of my favorite set-ups is the FA/Hockey 8.5 or 8.38 with 144 indys. It flips around really easy and it feels really stable since they are wider. The wheelbases are 14.25 for the 8.5 and 14.18 for the 8.38.

Im 37 years old and i hurt my knee pretty bad a couple of months ago. Don't know exactly what i did bc i never saw a Dr. It sucked but i stayed off my board for about 5 weeks straight. Then i didn't skate hard for another 2 weeks at least. Just be patient and don't make it worse man. You'll be good in a few weeks.

Classic though. The first and only question to the doc is always "How long?" 🤷‍♂️said If you're back with another one, I'll be back to watch it. 🙌 Heal up fast!
