It’s so interesting that in trying to get back to purgatory street, he put himself into his own kind of purgatory. Never moving forward, never finding something new, just always checking the same street every night hoping for a chance to go back and make another choice that will never come.

good catch
This tale, to me, symbolises how one can never truly leave their past behind. The decisions we could have made but didn't will haunt us until the rest of our days, and we will keep going back, back to the spots of regret where we didn't make the right choice. Hinesight is truly a cruel mistress.

I really love some of the “shorter” stories you’ve been doing, where it’s around 20-30 minutes and has this story that doesn’t go into too much detail, but is well written enough to be scary.

Man, the first I heard was “What Happens When the Stars Go Out”, it nearly killed me. It mirrored my life so spectacularly and Ronnie and Spirit Voices did such an amazing job pulling the listener into the story. Then I heard I “got a job watching a woman in a room” and I was hooked ever since
it's fascinating listening to stories that stem more into being philosophical and bringing up the ultimate mysteries to life's questions (what comes after death, what else exists in space, what else exists in our oceans) than bringing stories that are meant to be creepy and unsettling. it really makes you wonder if the story is woundlicker's interpretation of what the afterlife could be like

WOW Hats off to Woundlicker, that story was great! At first I thought "Oh its just another story of a world between worlds" but they turned it around on me and pulled the rug away from underneath me at the same time. Loved the characters. Loved the general vibes. Even the end, with how its all just... Uh I dont wanna say too much. Its all just Purgatory. I think thats really the best way to describe it and 100% chosen as a name for a reason. Would love to hear more of his stories if you are to ever cover any more of them Ron! Keep up the good work! And also, you been pumping out stories left and right as of late. Love it but make sure to take care of yourself ya hear? You know, I'd like to believe the purgatory isn't about the inhabitants unable to move on, but about if the walker decides to just keep watching and stays fairly neutral to the actions around them. Surely there's a way, somehow, thst the walker can maybe help the spirits of the street, surely. Overall, good story, and amazing narration as always.

The bucket of blood pub in the story brought back memories of where I used to visit when I was younger. The bucket of blood saloon is a very old saloon in a very old historc town.
Another great work! Though the later part was quite sad, it compliments the story perfectly. I hope he gets to see the street again someday.
Okay, my brain went full crazy weirdo on this one, because I started noticing similarities with the Simpsons, except 200x darker. It’s really weird when “The Bucket of Blood” looks like Moes Tavern with an adult Lisa running it. Imagery notwithstanding, another awesome story, Dark. Keep ‘em coming!
Another great story! Thanks for always putting so much effort into your narrations
