Any supervisor ever threatens my pay my response would be do that again and I'll quit on the spot. I can't stand dealing with supervisors or employers that treat their employees like crap but couldnt perform our jobs. My supervisor has a certification in being a desk jockey but he knows that he could never do what I do and it would be hard to replace me after 20 years of experience and multiple certifications in fabrication

They don’t have to warn me, so no, a manager talks to me like that I’m gonna hang up the phone and turn around. They can do it their darn self if it’s so important. I’ll block that number and not answer any number I don’t recognize just to spite them. Especially if I had your experience.

Did you compose the opening song? It’s haunting and pretty. I have synesthesia and it’s making me see nighttime sky colours. If you made this I’d love to know if you’ve posted it somewhere so I can listen to it while I read! Also the story is great. The music just really grabbed me by the collar.

Whenever a story like this is told in third person, I get the foreboding sense that the mc won't make it out of this one alive

Please tell me there's a sequel where an undead Tom gets payback from Mark.

Bruh really heard a spooky screeching monster and still decided to do the job.

“He has been defeated using the most shameful of all magic….a power shriek.”

Poor bastard never stood a chance. This creature seems to drain power from electronics, cand control sound around it, and to a certain degree control digital recordings of it. Although it could've been possible to escape if he didn't leave his lights on. He might have had enough power in the car vattery otherwise. Instead he became monster chow. Maybe the next expendable reporter will find his phone and not make the same mistakes... Fantastic tale of terror and intrigue. Loved every chilling moment of it! ❤

Some banshees cut the middle man out when predicting death will occur. I think maybe Nature's Temper recorded this one a while back, but it's well worth listening to your version as well.

Just a few things about dark somnium that a love is that 1. This is the first time reading the stories as well, giving a more authentic reaction, and 2. He’s like one of the nicest guys in the comments after reading the gruesome stories. Idk why but that makes it so appealing to me

So, it was a Banshee? And it could control sound, or only its moves were silent? It also seemed to be draining the battery on his phone, so it seems likely it could have drained the car battery as well. Banshees normally wail at their target the day before, right? Also, this one was somehow poisoning the water spring?

I heard this a long time ago but I like this time better, plus, I learned a new word-pusillanimous, thank you! I always wonder how we know what happens to the (dead) protagonist when a story is written in third person. I like to think the monster wrote it.

Could be. It was smart enough to just stand there and watch him for a minute, to let him figure out his car won't work and let him feel despair before killing him. Although I think that would also be the monsters death sentence. In almost every creepypasta i heard where the protagonist managed to beat the monster, it was because the monster was playing with its food first.

While Grognack is only starting the story, Gorgnack is absolutely positive that it will yet again be as amazing as every other narration Sir Somnium has put out. Gorgnack will continue to watch until the day Sir Somnium finally ceases his uploads!

There is a huge difference between telling and showing. This story is a great example of telling. Hardly any descriptions just a dictation of events happening. Telling is what novice story writers do. Showing is descriptions and feelings intertwined with telling painting a picture of what is happening giving the story depth. Remember a story is not an instruction manual.
