but we actually don't have one. it's merely an ideologically motivated darwinian misnomer. the appendix for example is definitely not a leftover of our ancestors but simply a part of the immune system and it's various components. and yes, we can survive with no legs or only one kidney or no appendix - in a civilized society!

Yeah. And it’s crazy that the Bible which is only a few thousand years old talks about how snakes used to have legs and they were taken. If evolution is true and happened over millions of years then there is no way humans would know snakes once had legs. Crazy to think about.

@@fruitminer5008 stories are passed down. But from my research most evolutionists claim that snakes lost their legs between 100-150 million years ago and most evolutionists say humans in any form have been around for less than 2 million years and the first Homo sapiens that are similar to humans today evolved in Africa between 200,000-300,000 years ago. So based off what evolutionists are saying this makes zero sense that humans ever would have known about snakes having legs. Also the dinosaurs according to most evolutionists believe all dinosaurs went extinct over 60 million years ago or earlier yet the Bible vividly describes certain dinosaurs. Very interesting to say the least. It doesn’t really add up unless evolutionists are wrong and the snakes losing their legs and dinosaurs walking with humans happened in the same time period while humans were alive which lines up more with a biblical world view.

@@Papaspronator What are you talking about? In the Bible it is understood the prophets that wrote down Genesis didn't experience Genesis. They were prophets to whom God showed the story. Otherwise how did humans know God made it in 7 days even tho humans hadn't been created? How did a prophet write the story of Adam and Eve.. without being Adam and Eve? God showed a prophet visions of what happened. Read the Bible for ONCE. Please. Every Christian needs to understand the Bible. Christians like you, who misconstrue and twist the Bible will be among the first on their way to hell.

Just to clarify a bit. Most snakes don’t have these. It’s only really pythons and boids, so called primitive snakes. A few others have them as well. For perspective, about two thirds of all snake species are colubrids, and they don’t have vestigial pelvises. They are called spurs, and are commonly used for mating. I’ve seen some reports of certain species using it for fights between males over mating rights, but I don’t know much about that.

A ton of other snake species have these too! (Not all! Only the older species do like pythons but colubrids don’t! ) they are called spurs and they are pretty cool! Fun fact, Males actually tend to have spurs twice as long as females! The spurs aren’t actually completely useless either, they are actually used to stimulate mating! If you have a ball python at home they will have them aswell! (I’m not going to name a the snakes with them but ball pythons are one of the most commonly kept snakes that also have spurs!) and if you don’t have a BP check if your snake has them aswell!!

@@theogrhino1144 yeah😅 I should have said that but when I said constrictors I just had them in mind. I wouldn’t put pythons in boa constrictor just because of pythons being apart of pythonidae and boas being apart of boidae. They’re just two different families and it’s a small pet peeve and if I was thinking I would’ve been peeved at me saying all constrictors have spurs. Again thanks for pointing this out and it is a great point.
