Always brings a smile to my face. These spanish restaurants doing British fish and chips. I am English but from Portuguese family. I visit Northern Portugal where the Portuguese side of my family is located often. Most of the local restaurants and snacks bars have their own version of fish and chips. The cod is fried in batter, chips always made with fresh chopped potatoes and deep fried. The only difference is that they don't have vinegar on their chips, but me being British and used to, I must. The Portuguese just have salt on their chips. But I have to admit Portuguese home cooked chips are gorgeous too 😍🤤🤤😋😋

Great vlog. I miss Lanzarote so much. The cafe bar behind where you were sitting is lovely for breakfast. El kiosko is great for people watching. La Rustica pizza does metre long pizzas really nice restaurant upstairs which was in your vlog. Hawaiian bar recently reopened over the way from Spoons we always went there. The Bollywood Indian is lovely and the one you showed Indian Aroma we went twice in our 6 night holiday in February. Can’t wait for more vlogs here 😀

Those days are gone. Its €1.50 for a large Tropical in Spoons now. Thoughly recommended the fish and chips in there too. So many great places to eat in Puerto del Carmen.

I love the cod father they do nice fish & chips I worked in lanzarote many years ago and love the island in fact I love all the canary Islands enjoy your adventures.

I'm hoping my sister and her hubby will take me to Lanzarote one of these days. It looks amazing. The food looks really well cooked and very appetising. Very jealous !

Looked great fish & chips, I did not expect a choice of haddock or cod (skinless too) Top meal.

The peace and tranquillity of the waves along with the thumping bass from somewhere behind you 😂

When we went to Lanzarote we stayed in Costa Teguise Lee , we went to Porta dela cruise (spell check)😊 a few times, lovely resorts,glad you are feeling better ❤️🍷😎x

Watching it now ..could eat that fish and chips now but. It is nice ..we were there too but also Hatton bar beside bluebell is nice too and Hatton bar in old town are nice too....

What a lovely place and the sound of the sea nearly sent me to sleep 💤 fish and chips looked yummy 😋 my mark is 9/5 and a speedy recovery to yourself

Hi Lee its strange you said about the fast landing at Lanzarote ..i had the same at Palma with Jet 2..they seem to land way too fast , we actually skidded at Palma! Great video never been to this island so its great to see x

The views look amazing, so wish I could be there, soaking up some sunshine. It might only be autumn here in the UK, but my seasonal affective disorder has been flaring up quite a bit lately.

Great holiday vlog Lee. Loved it when you left the camera running recording the sounds of the sea and crashing waves, (there’s an idea for future videos). That Spoons place is crafty how did he get away with the name? Great for a cheap pint though. The fish & chips looked ok although if that was small however big is medium or large? Have you noticed how Spar shops are so much bigger, better and far superior to the little Spar shops in the UK. They sell far more stuff in there too. Love the look of Lanzarote will consider going here next year. Nice vlog Lee 😉👌

Excellent vlogg Lee , Just returned home (sunny Mansfield) from Tenerife. Loads places selling 1 euro pints. What they don't tell is that they add tax. so that 1 euro pint is actually 1 euro 14 cents. Still a fantastic bargain.

Just got back from Dubrovnik (stunning place) and off to Lanzarote in January with Jet2.........get in!!!
