What an awful depressing room I wouldn't want to spend a fortnight there

Stayed in that exact room in 2019 nice n spacious compared to normal hotel rooms that are just bedroom and bathroom xxx

I’m in Costa Teguise at the moment. Weather hasn’t been too good in the mornings

Went to Puerto del Carmen in August last year fantastic resort we stayed at the other bluesea in the town the Lanzarote Palm. Only downside was up a huge hill. Similar to yourself with the food but we enjoyed it. As you say the AI is well worth it for the drinks. Have also done Costa Teguise again we stayed at the Bluesea Teguise Gardens so knew what to expect. Only real issue we found was lack of entertainment saw a show on one night at both

We always stay in Puerto del Carmen. Love it there. But we always stay on New Town down by the casino on the flat. A beautiful area. We couldn't manage the hills in the old town. The harbour is beautiful there with wonderful restaurants. 16:58 I have heard horror stories from people who have stayed at Blue Seas Los Ficos. I have never stayed there so I can't comment , but Puerto del Carmen is beautiful.

OMW! My then boyfriend and I had a holiday in Puerto del Carmen in 1990! That apartment looks exactly like the one we stayed in - that let's you know just how old the decor is, even down to the counterpane on the bed. Mind you, because Lanzarote law does not permit high rise hotels ALL the accommodation looks exactly the same and it's all painted white with either an emerald green or royal blue for the woodwork. I guess the insides of every apartment looks the same too. The price is good enough if you're looking for a quiet place to stay - it's far back from the sea, the shops and the nightlife. If I recall there's not too much happening on site. Restaurant and bar, that's about it. I did develop taste for the Banana Liqueur. And.... I accidently forgot to pack my boyfriends underwear, he shared mine! Happy Days. Julie in Sheffield. 😊

Who left the worse skid marks ?

I have been to Tenerife and Gran Can to rooms almost identical to this, I liked them for the week on a cheap winter deal.

Looks the same as a place I stayed at in Tenerife years ago. Same colours, layout and curtains😊😊😊😊

Hi Paul great video. Never been to Lanzarotte yet been to Tenerife,our family stayed in a Bluesea hotel there. Canarife Palace in Puerto De La Cruz. I agree your room looked dated but least nice&clean especially the bed. My room was similar except my room smelt not too good. Excellent hotel facilities food&drink much same as we got&your right tends be same stuff something slightly different thrown in. Recognised blue band on your wrist we had that so we could enter the restaurant as hotel guests. Location bit out of the way carnt fault the lovely weather overall looked like pleasant stay there&price £50 per person real bargain stay in a hotel in Spain thanks for sharing 👍

It looks like a good place to get away from all the noisy packed areas and no UK TV channels is a bonus when you ARE ON HOLIDAY.

Looks fine. The food was the food. Looked nice and edible. Probably reflected in the price charged. Grounds were good looked chilled and relaxing. Pool looked ace. 😊

We stayed here 5 years ago they turned the bar lights off 11 o'clock left us sitting in the dark and it's on top of a huge hill

This hotel was great I especially liked the pool and the views are stunning. I think because the Lanzarote landscape is due to volcanic activity it reminds me of pictures from the moon, very strange. The room is good for the price, I imagine all inclusive is better value and more convenient than self catering, who wants to do loads of shopping on holiday and I bet that is expensive. Another wonderful video Paul xx

@@whoknowswhere Aw sadly it wasn't it's a myth, filmed entirely in California though the beach scene is in Malibu! What a creepy film that one was though Charlton Heston was very handsome. However the film One million years BC was filmed in Lanzarote, Tenerife and Canary Islands in the middle of winter ☃️❄️ Brrr. Inspector Penny appreciates the research mission, over and out 😂❤️

Been to lanzarote many times, my preferred canary island. I like Puerto del carmen, really easy to navigate, just left or right at the bottom. Costa teguise is lovely also. My favourite resort is playa blanca, the marina Rubicon part is beautiful and you can also get the ferry over to fuerteventura from the harbour in the old town. They have just finished building lanzarotes biggest resort complex next to the Rubicon, Barcelo. That would be a good review for you to do paul.

You get what you pay for, was our 1st time in Lanzarote last September, we stay in san antonio hotel on the sea front at the beginning of the stripe 4 mins walk to spoons bit more expensive, yes bit dated, but couldnt knock food, drinks

I didnt see a kettle or toaster just large pan and frying pan.

We've just got back this morning, it's a lovely area but not so much to do in our opinion. We wouldn't go again but we are in that funny age bracket where we are too young to be old and too old to be young!

The hotel looked a bit tired the pool looked really nice tho don't think I could stay there with walk but you can get a taxi of needs be not a bad price to stay and the staff been friendly made a difference difference

Looks like a 90’s timeshare. Nice though and a bargain. I’d definitely stay there.

We went to the same hotel about four years ago. Didn't like it. As you said food Boring. Still looking very dated. No hankering to go back again. Still Benidorm for us every time!.

My wife hated Lanz so much. bad food , very windy (not from me), boring scenery, lack of proper Malls (she likes Bicester) . Great videos.

I stayed in Los Fiscos in 1993. The apartment looks just the same. Stayed many times in other apartments in Puerto Del Carmen this is not typical of most accommodation. X

Got bank from fiscos this morning and that room was a million times better than this one by the looks of it. The hotel is a little boring though. Doesn't help that the weather wasn't the best and I got so ill on day 3.

£50 a night is a bargain lad.lanzarote is my 2nd home and we always stay self catering in Costa teguise as its so cheap to eat out there.

No BBC news has to be the best thing about this hotel 😮

Unfortunately you have stayed in the wrong place and area. You needed to have stayed in around Central Puerto del carmen with some fantastic hotels and apartments and modern or either stayed in the Matagorda area where I stay. It's fantastic and modern unlike the old town. Playa Blanca area have fantastic new hotels. Don't let this review put you off wonderful Lanzarote..

No AC, not for me I’m afraid fairly good value

I thought the same for years but around 5 years ago i ended up out there and fell in love with the place. I wasnt expecting to. Ive returned 5 times since. Well worth a visit.

You would be surprised I don't watch TV full stop but some people like home comforts

We stayed there in 2019 what a dump fighting by the pool police were in there every other night rooms being broken into every night staff did nothing we put coffee table by the front door at night the food was horrible ate out every night never again
