Fully Forged and Ready for Combat!
The hammers are silent.
The Files are down.
And the hands worn and with a minor infected cut on the middle finger.
The last two months have seen me working my ass off metal working, blacksmithing, wood working and pulling out splinters, and I have my first sword on this channel completed!
The basket hilted broadsword was something I had wanted to do for ages and having finished I am both proud, but ready to have another go at it already. I made a lot of mistakes, but learned so much more. The next projects will be so much better for it.
As I am learning Scottish Broadsword at my HEMA club, I will get to use this bad boy pretty much immediately. I will see how it compares to other weapons I have used and a review will appear on this channel pretty soon.
