Always an enjoyable watch - I'd recommend using techniques employed by the Scottish sword masters for future demonstrations. You can learn them easily online using services such as the Cateran Society. You might not cut through a complete pig carcass but the cuts would be impressive to see none the less.

@allshallbelosttoyou What makes you think that? A 3.25" POB makes this a very lively weapon; sure it's a bit heavy at 3lbs 8oz, but all that is concentrated in the basket. Besides, a 31.5" blade is pretty common for Euro one-handers.

@Jaahaah ah,but consider the time period of the sciavona and the scottish broadsword... scratch that,..idea, they may havegrown up independantly, i thought the sciavonna was MUCH older than it is, due to it appearing in ssassins creed 2, which is set in the second half of the 1400's a full century before it actually arrived on the scene.

@lazyorc all swords "wobble." flexibility is the key to a sword's strength. japanese katanas, the "best swords in the world," wobble as well. a sword that cannot flex will shatter upon impact. that doesn't sound so tough, does it?

@popole65 Well 1 they donate it to homeless shelters after cleaning it up and 2, pigs are closest in density and bone mass to people, so basically if they can do that to a pig, they can cut a man in half in 1 good swipe, thats the point they're making, and before u ask y u would need to cut a person in half, if u dont want something that has that ability, u wouldnt want a sword to begin with lol.
