Less a cryptid and more Americans specifically know so little about countries outside the Americas, and view Australia as this literal hell scape covered in murderous animals, that we just throw extra ones in cause fk it they believe it. I remember an exchange student came once, to Sydney, and she was shocked the airport wasn't a dirt runway with a few buildings with corrugated iron roofs like you saw in Crocodile Dundee. When your nation has a general sense of humor that revolves around messing with people, and the rest of the world knows so little about your country, you absolutely take the piss out of them every chance you get.

As a English person, I can confirm this is completely bewildering

6:08 , As an other Australian i have attended healthy Harrold's van when i was in primary and its was worse on the inside then the outside, they did in-fact tell us about the dangerous of smoking and drugs by showing us graphs and demonstrations of drugs itself and it was very knowledgeable and nice to interact

The creativity and skill of RT's viewers never ceases to amaze (and sometimes terrify) me. I can make cool buildings, I can landscape, but I struggle so much with organic things. But the people building eldritch abominations inspire me to do better.

PM shitting himself is one thing. Having a PM go missing in the sea during a swim then naming a swimming pool after him a few years later is next level Aussie humour. Lookup Harold Holt if you're curious.

I’m the one that built the so called ”dream house”. The thing I noticed was the most difficult was not the fact that you were building upside down, but that the block choice was severly limited. The interior was actually very hard. Dan saw it during the stream, but it was cut out in the video. You can see the build to the right at 5:57
