~~~~~~Server Information~~~~~
To join my Minecraft server, head to my Twitch channel and type !server for the login information. You must be subscribed on Twitch to join, and have a Discord account. This is so we can moderate and manage the server due to demand. The server is open 24/7 and has a survival world, as well as a museum of every past build we've done on the channel.
New Earth Build Rules:
-No obnoxious floating text. No obnoxiously tall buildings.
-Respect the coastline and borders. Islands, continents and countries should retain their shape.
-Build the best you can. Low effort and unfinished constructions will be removed.
-Your building cannot just be a flag.
-No contemporary politics.
-No depictions of war, recent mass tragedy, racism or discrimination or hate symbols of any kind.
-Railways must be at ground level. Railways in the air are considered low effort and too tall. We recommend an underground metro instead.
-No pixel art. We find that this obscures other builds, and we plan to provide a space later.
~~~~~~~~Extra Things~~~~~~~~
Special thanks to Nitrous Networks for hosting our Minecraft server. See their site for quality server hosting across a variety of games: nitrous-networks.com/
Music is The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker - Dragon Roost, Windfall Island.

  • @laurencefraser

    Is it? I know that it had kiwi actors in a number of seasons, at least. Though it's worth noting that for at least the early seasons (and probably to this day, actually) most if not all of the footage of the characters in costume is actually licensed from Japanese super sentai shows and just dubed over. Massively reduces the special effects budget (in many cases different seasons of Power Rangers used footage from Entirely different shows. The colour coding is mostly a genre convention, like how anime hair colours Usually match personality types/traits.)

    I'm a New Zealander and boy am I excited to watch this! Editing as I go for reactions: 1) Echidnas don't live in New Zealand haha The only native mammals in NZ are bats. Other than that it's just birds. Since the Māori and English arrived we've got possums, rabbits, mice, rats, stoats and weasels (all of which are pests), deer, goats and pigs (Which are kind of pests, but hunting keeps them in check) 2) Yeah we have a lot of sheep. Lots of farming in NZ. Dairy is pretty big too, but has nothing on the sheep farming. 3) The flightless birds build someone did with armour stands is really cute! Didn't see a Kākapo there though. And if we're counting extinct birds, there were a number of species of Moa which are also flightless. They had a similar body shape to Ostriches and Emus. Long legs, long neck. And the heights of the species ranged from something about the size of a turkey to over 3 metres tall! 4) Yeah we call McD's "Maccas". 5) Okay, I didn't know the tree church was a thing 6) Fun fact about the Moa; there are rumors that there may still be a couple alive in fiordland somewhere. Mind you we also have rumors of moose in fiordland and big cats (as in panthers and such) in canterbury (which has since been debunked - someone shot one and it turned out to just be a REALLY big feral cat) 7) Wharenui (Pronounced kinda like "Fah-re-noo-ee" with a rolled r) is a traditional Māori building. On a Marae (Pronounced like "Ma-righ" (with a rolled r as well)) it serves like a meeting hall or place of gathering. The person who built it did a really good job and as someone who is Māori, I love that they put in all the info about Wharenui for others to see :D The clock tower they built is a real structure, and yes it is on a lean. It's not that big and you can't go inside it but it definitely stands out!

    @@WAMTAT we actually had a proper one as well, which should have been very good for what it was, except by the time it reached the point where a decision on putting it into production or not would have to be made the situation had changed such that being able to build our own (very important when the Japanese controlled much of the pacific and might have eventually got around to invading us) was substantially less important than having vehicles that were interchangable, in whole and in part, with those of our allies (Japan had been pushed back in the pacific and most of our troops who were actually fighting were in the Mediterranean theater)

    @@blarg2429 properly speaking, the fruit is a "kiwifruit", at least in New Zealand, so you can ignore that one as an option. Seriously, most New Zealanders are likely to experience at least momentary confusion if you say "kiwi" when referring to the fruit if they're not already used to your dialect.
