Black 3 and White 3 are going to have a very interesting story about where Ingo has disappeared to and then later find out that he was sent back in time, but unfortunately died because RT decided to Skyrim Horse himself up to Spear Pillar

I’ve been over leveled for quite a while now in my playthrough (because I have a supernatural desire to throw hands with every Alpha Pokémon I make eye contact with), but his Togekiss is only a couple levels lower than my weakest two Pokémon, Roserade and Rhyperior. And I’m like, 1 conversation with Kamado away from being evicted since I beat Lord Avalugg (the only Pokémon to ever kill me) a couple hours ago.

RT: my favorite gen is gen 5 also RT when he meets the only gen 5 character in the game: I will let you freeze in the mountains for 4 hours straight by Ingo.

@@thenormalpsycho4198Not true. First of all Lets go uses Megas. Just because megas arent in SWSH doesnt mean that they aren't using that timeline. Megastones are rare and were in alola just because of Kalos ppl bringing them. Stones are mostly only in Hoenn and Kalos. Besides also Type Null is in Galar because someone stole an specimen brought it after the events of USUM. Galar is extremely isolated from all other regions and its a reference of british history which easily explains why megas arent present but the most important thing is that the Fairy type is in the games. Also Fairys have been a Mega-Timeline exclusive even in bdsp the data of megas is in the code after being deleted from swsh. There is no indication of Megas just poofing out of existence after all they are very rare and pretty much Region Exclusive

Yea lmao, you can even see this when watching him try to avoid NPCs In SwSh, it was constant "*please* just let me walk 10 steps without someone leading me along!" and wanting to simply avoid them. In Legends Arceus, he avoids NPCs because he simply wants to explore, not because he hates the characters.

Use them in battle. I'm convinced they somehow switched the Ultraballs and Gigaton balls effects by accident. Getting a pokemon into the red and tossing a Leaden/Gigaton ball in battle works almost 100% of the time for me, even when Greats and Ultras aren't working.

RT also uses stealth spray, so he's able to get a lot closer to the pokemon; the heavy balls work better the closer you get to them before you throw.

He also feeds the pokémon. RazzBerries increase the catch rate. Also I noticed that even normal berries tend to raise rge catch rate for the time they eat

I was catching lvl 60s with heavy balls when I first got those and gigaton balls have a 98% catch rate on anything back striked for me. I carry 60 of those around cause they never fail if ya throw an oren berry out for them to eat first or knock ‘em out with mud

I think the people in this time not having full 6 pokemon teams is excusable considering how scared they are of pokemon. Modern day trainers on the other hand have no excuse especially the older ones.

Granted, in universe its apparently pretty difficult to manage a full team of six pokemon, considering you have to account for 6 different temperaments, care requirements, training regimens, etc. It’s a lot for one person to take care of. So as a result, professional trainers and serious battlers are the only ones that really invest in a larger team. Most of the trainers you encounter on routes in game are more casual battlers that are invested in other hobbies/jobs, like mountain climbing or being a child. So they end up having a smaller team of pokemon that they can handle, or they have a functional purpose in their lives/jobs/hobbies/etc. So most of the in-game battles would be like if you walked up to someone with their beloved pet dog and pulled out six mountain lions.

I know the similarities of this game and Breath of the Wild are numerous, but I think the biggest compliment this game gets is that it makes you (or at least RT) actively want to skip the main quests and get sidetracked. RT genuinely wants to explore and do everything, rather than pushing through the game and its plot ASAP in order to get it over with. I think that’s a testament to how good the open world in both of these games are.

RT, that Mr mime hunting strategy seems absolutely like something you'd read in a Pokedex entry in a game you can't naturally obtain them.

I have to admire RT's dedication to the RPG experience by going out of his way to do everything except the main storyline.

I don’t know why he said subscribe for more detours at the end, he clearly followed the intended route entirely

There are several ways to lower the chance and they stack cutting the rate in half everytime pretty much. Having Research Level 10, an outbreak, completing every challenge tied to that pokemon, and the shiny charm is a 1/128 something chance. The charm is going to be a bastard to get it requires you to research every pokemon to level 10 though.

Technically all the nutrients you need can be found in potatoes and dairy, that's why british scientists were so impressed by the Irish before the famine, the british didn't get all the nutrients they needed because they ate more wheat than potatoes and did less exercise

I dont think that the game acknowledges how horrifying ingo's situation is enough. Like this poor man was taken from his home and twin brother ( who like probably thinks he is dead) and thrown into like the wild with freaking amnesia. And when he remembers his home he has no way back. Pokemon gets a bit dark with these types of characters ( like lillie and gladion's dad was a totally different person, looker is implied to be a faller as well in omega ruby and annabel was luckily rescued but jeez)

A fact: when Lucario uses dragon pulse in this game, it has one arm forward and another one back when it fires. Because of this I thought the animation looked like the Galik Gun from Dragon Ball Z, which is why I named my alpha Lucario "Vegeta"

20:34 "I'm so bad at following the quest marker." hey now, it's not your fault the game is so open-ended that it lets you go practically anywhere within a region as long as you finagle with the geometry. Edit: and now he doesn't even need to do that! he can just climb the cliffs normally.

Electrodes didn't use to explode until humans plugged up the hole on the head which causes it to release its energy.

RT thinking he's a sequence-breaking genius as he forces Wyrdeer up the slopes instead of going to get the climbing Pokémon that Ingo hands you is fairly hilarious.

17:00 Can confirm that you can make it all the way to the guy guarding the cave at the top of the map with just Stantler, if you power up the right hand side of the map where it's the least steep. Can't progress the story until you speak with Ingo, though :( Glad it's not just me that felt the need to Skyrim the shit out of this game

I think it would’ve been fun if they made some Hisuian rotom forms. It seems the Hisuan forms focus primarily on pokemon that arent from the sinnoh region, but I think contextually for rotom it would work. Not too sure what they could be, but imagine Rotom possessing an old clock and becoming ghost/steel type. Or it could possess a statue and become ghost/rock type. Maybe rotom itself would also have a hisuian form with a different type, maybe just being plain ghost type, implying that it gains the electric typing in the future when humans figure out electricity.

The game play's quite well, and has good sales. Now Gamefreak can hire a second art designer for the next game.

I just finished the entire game. I had to watch the first episode while I was playing in order to make sure I didn’t get anything spoiled. But now I’m free to watch the series without any hesitation because I’ve done most of the post game and i finished the story. You know how a bunch of the PL:A characters are very clearly the ancestors of modern ones? It just occurred to me after beating Electrode myself who Melli reminds me of.... Avery. From the Isle of Armour. Completely full of themselves, denying reality, florid and aggrandising speech patterns, long hair, and odd hats. Both of them.

I've been thinking, and I need someone to mod the cut-scenes where the character throws the last balm at the lord Pokemon so that instead of the balm it's just an explosive.

You are correct about outbreaks being a shiny hunting method. Any Pokemon in an outbreak has a 1/158 base chance of being shiny, and there's a way to constantly reset and get new outbreaks so you can farm until you get a shiny

On top of that, the shiny chance also increases depending on if the Pokemon's research level is 10 or perfect

watching someone have so much fun with a game is one of the best experiences as a viewer. that shit is just good for the soul

while watching this vid i found my first Shiny an Alpha Walrein. never underestimate the power of bullying, throwable things to stun pokemon are damn usefull.

I thought my day was already going well with 2 Shiny Goomys, back to back Shiny Riolu and Shiny Eevee outbreak and a full odds Shiny Wurmple, but now I get to watch your Arceus content :)

@@richardgibson8403 yeah he has the C person I forgot’ name team and if you defeat him he throws giratina out and if you defeat him giratina acts knocked back and goes origin form and if you don’t win any point of the fight you have to do it all over again

I realized yesterday while playing this game that I've never seen the start screen. Because I just save and put the switch to sleep without closing the game out. And since the game starts with you meeting God I've never seen even if this game has a start screen.
