I FIXED My CHEAP Infiniti I35 For LESS Than $100

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

After buying two cars for the price of one it's time to get busy fixing them so I decided to start with the 2003 Infiniti I35. The brakes were seized, the brake lights stuck on, battery dead, it was out of gas, and misfiring... honestly an impressive number of problems.

I would consider replacing those brake hoses. They could be swelling and deteriorating internally causing the black color in your brake fluid.

Its not water that makes the fluid black. That's the brake hoses failing internally that makes the black color. If you have a sticky caliper change the hose first.

If there is black gunk coming from lines, JR you should replace brake lines too. Or give headsup to new customer who buys this car. Those brake lines are crumbling for sure. 😢

Just a couple of quick notes: 1. Press and hold the unlock on the fob to have the windows roll down, I think you can hold lock for the windows to close too. 2. Watch out for the rear valve cover leak. If you want to fix it get a valve cover from an 04-above maxima. They were redesigned to not leak as much.

That gurgle when you opened the gas tank could mean that it’s not venting properly. In order for fuel to be pulled out, air needs to be pulled in. Make sure you check all the solenoids and vents associated with the fuel system before troubleshooting the intermittent misfire. If it was a dirt road car then something might be caked with dirt. Sometimes the rubber lines swell shut too.
