I got this from a W40K: Space Marine ending breakdown video The reason Titus was able to keep his weapon, despite protocol saying he should've been disarmed, was because the Inquisitor present doubted Leandros' accusation. Also, Leandros didn't follow the Codex when he reported Titus directly to the Inquisition, instead of reporting it the Chaplain first.

@@serban031 The Inquisition's main problem isn't the fact that most Inquisitors are corrupt. It's that there's so many Inquisitiors. There's over 1,000,00 planets, and each planet has at least 1 Inquisitor. Massive Hive worlds can have dozens. Every major non inquisition faction also has an Ordo of Inquisitors constantly checking for possible corruption, defection, or heresy. That it leads to massive amounts of Inquisitors. Too many to be properly maintained and screened. Especially since most inquisitors are constantly worried that their allies are abusing their power or corrupt. So internal audits of the faction are hard. Which leads corruption, chaotic or otherwise within The Inquisition to far more common than would be preferable. So you end up with the memes that all Inquisitors are just horny for blowing up planets.

In the Eisenhorn novels he talks about loving Alizebeth but can't stand being in her presence for long because she's a null.

Also, Titus now has 4 studs in his forehead in the new cinematic trailer, which I think means he's been serving the Emperor for 400 years, meaning approx 200 years have passed between the first & second games (I'm new to the W40K world and lore, mind, so someone please correct me if wrong). That's quite a long gap to address, and I'm quite looking forward to hearing about what transpired.

The houses which are dynastic seat of power, sometimes limited to a world and sometimes spanning several worlds. Vermintide 2 is genuinely pretty fuckin' terrific. As a 4-player coop game it does also have a lot of potential for a channel like Zanny's where playing with his friends adds 100% more funny per teammate.

Honestly I'm proud of Zanny for a relatively short recap. As any 40k fan knows, whenever you try to explain anything from 40k to someone who's not familiar with the universe it's impossible to not go on 30 different tangents.

Nice to see that zanny came back to this game just to play it when a sequel is coming out.

The whole “chaos power” Titus has is ironically the opposite of Chaos. He has it because he’s the most composed and Human Space Marine in the entire franchise. Chaos spreads by the absolute malevolence that composes the rest of the 40K universe especially with the constant fanatically driven pushback by Humans. Titus being the “only sane employee” in the game makes his resistance make sense and exposure probably had the opposite effect on Leandros since he is an actual fanatic and it probably channeled his fanaticism into paranoia that Titus was a chaos avatar of some kind even though he was the opposite. Regardless, you could argue he naturally came to see Titus’ innocent alignment and composition as a threat to the Imperium’s farcical theofascist nature like host/puppet to a parasite would act towards a toxin meant to kill the parasite.

@@Pazuzu4All There is an in-universe concept nicknamed the "armour of contempt", which describes a similar case of corruption resistance and is what probably makes Titus all but immune to Chaos.

I played Space Marine on the 360 when it came out and loved it. Glad they're (FINALLY) doing a sequel - that game was criminally underrated.
