I don't know what KZread circles you stay in, but there's quite a few channels that do actually show data. I'll update this if I remember more but for now all I remember is Colin and Samir did a video about monetisation and showed five examples and none were blurred. They often do vids like this, (last time I checked, don't watch them much) Btw: fancy seeing you here. I used to play CR competitively back in 2017. I recognized your name immediately 😃. Amazing analysis! But correlation ≠ causation. I wonder how much of the data that you collected had to do with the algorithm itself. For example, maybe there are more medium videos in the fyp because most people create medium-length content, rather than TikTok recommending them more. There are so many variables involved that it's hard to isolate them... we would need hundreds of data points to get a completely unbiased statistic.

This is a great point, in fact in reviewing the average length of posts from a few accounts I found that often they make short posts. It may also be that the algorithm was conditioned to mostly boosts smaller length posts just because that is what users mostly see and then like.

Well whatever he did and figured out he definitely knew what he was doing because he also was able to use this information to get 0 to 100000 followers on Tik Tok in a week without using his KZread to advertise it

Really insightful analysis! I’ve been experimenting with different content types and found boost app social super helpful for generating fresh ideas and optimizing hashtags. It’s amazing how much creative freedom it offers, especially when trying new things on TikTok. Great point about video length too!
