I Fell in Love With The Gunmaker’s Daughter in Nagaland.
I spent a few days exploring the fascinating village of Longwa, Nagaland. This is a very small community but the people a lovely and the culture is incredibly rich. I also fell in love every 5 minutes because the women here in Nagaland are BEAUTIFUL.
Enjoy x

Thankyou for doing ur research and visiting a extremely remote part of India eventhough you must have face difficulties due to the horrible road conditions and below par facilties as our state is still very underdeveloped...if you get time please visit some important tourist attraction of my state such as dziiikou valley, world war 2 cemetery at kohima were Japanese forces and British forces fought (this battle is known as Stalingrad of the East), khonoma the first green village of india ( this village is also famous for fighting against the British invasion, the battle of khonoma is known as the last and final resistance of the nagas to the British) and also hornbill festival at kisama ,kohima during December where you will get to experience all the different tribes gathering in one place and celebrating and showcasing their culture to the world, you can also visit the nearby villages interact with the locals and learn more about our culture ...i would also like to note that we followed animism in the past and we did not worshipped snakes and foxes as u had mentioned in ur vlog and we are extremely grateful and thankful to the British and American missionaries for introducing Christianity to us through them Christ came into our lives.. they also brought us education which in turn propelled and usher us into the modern world in a span of 60 - 70 years

Stop disrespecting the culture of India. Britishers pitted every Indian against each other and looted India till it's last breathe but India again reinstated it's Independence and recovered from those scum who looted India. These missionaries are still trying to convert and destroy cultural diversity of India and it's traditional values.

Hello Mike nice to see ur channel..
The trend of consuming the opium has ruined the lives of many, especially the youths of Konyak who dropped out of school and then started consuming it. They become so lazy, instead of progressing, they are falling back and it’s a threat to the future of concerns community. I wish the Concerns leaders takes a strict action to stopped this consumption of opium. Well, it’s a great content and I hope you travel to every district of Nagaland and get to meet our different beautiful NAGA tribes, especially the Naga girls xD

Oh, you're from England! Lovely accent! Enjoyed your tongue-in-cheek "commentary" on how Christianity came to Nagaland. Subscribed (because of your accent.) Edit: Besides opium, the British also brought education/"enlightenment", clothed the naked Nagas, brought an end to headhunting thereby saving the Nagas from headhunting themselves to oblivion. And for all these and more, I, for one, am eternally grateful.

@@bloodyfingers8161 Well, they were allies, and they worked together to bring an end to the barbarity of headhunting. Had the British forged their way through the jungles of Naga Hills, the American missionaries wouldn't have had it easy. Even in India, the British brought an end to appalling practices like untouchability, "Sati", introduced the rule of law, democracy, railways, and so and forth. But I do agree it's trendy to find faults with the British (or "the white man") and bury their good deeds. Even the roads that Naga ply on today were initially constructed by the British. Peace out.

@@tribalwildling9926 awkey..geez "Miss-i dont wanna be wrong" the harsh truth you need to admit ...you british-loving-human Is that ... Where the Britishers saw us as wildlings..savages the american missionaries saw humans.. The english didn't give a damn about people ...they were all about themselves.. Everything they did they did it for themselves.. Maybe we benefited a lot but we also need to realize that we were colonized and dominated.. Also untouchability exist till today and sati was abolished technically becuz of an indian dude's idea..so cant take credit for that either.. As for democracy.. Lol Great britain is not a democratic nation .. It never has been and their monarchy bullshiet might continue till the ends of time.. Well tbh anything could've happened.. Idk But it was the Americans that took the effort and risk to do something for Nagas which the great britain was too upperclass to touch even after years of colonisation ..
