i'm obsessed with jiwoo's parts in desperate especially that ''BEEEE''

I've never seen so much collective dislike for a finale before outside of maybe in PD48 (when everyone REALLY suspected rigging after the finale) or maybe GP999 (when it felt like international votes were meaningless and korean viewers had different wants and mnet was evil editing to the gods). But I completely understand why, the judges felt biased and straight up rude at times, talented contestants were kicked off and evil edited, and when the judges could've picked certain members who were obviously talented and worked well together they just decided not to. I get the people saying "it's what the company wanted so don't be upset or don't blame the judges" but honestly f the judges if they used the show as a cashgrab and gave false hope to the contestants. Hybe could've just debuted the group randomly one day and they would've succeeded lol the show felt unnecessary and an actual good show (rigged or not) would not make so many viewer disappointed by the final group. The whole point of having a show is so that viewers watching the show will automatically stan or follow the resulting group. I think Hybe needs to hide their greed better and value their international fans more. That one judge dude was creepy tho with Wonhee, is she okay?

Jiwoo is such a loss bruh. If all people that they should debut, Jiwoo should be the first one to be included there and I can't even believe that she placed 9th on the online voting like????? I couldn't agree more with the caption "you know you failed as a show when this is the final lineup of the eliminated girls". This is my first time watching an on-going survival show and I will forever be reminded that this is the debut lineup of the show where I witnessed a lot of talented girls. Though I got 2/6 of my picks in this show, it is still traumatizing for me to watch some messed up survival show. But for the record, the remaining girls in this last episode were already good, I just hope that they would all be given the chance to debut in the show. Anyways, hoping for a bright future of these girls that debuted and for the other girls who were eliminated. Will definitely wait for the time that my other faves debut in a group. Overall, this show was disappointing and a waste of time. BELIFT really called them a global girl group just to completely invalidate the votes and opinions of international voters last minute, and then pick most of the members. Clearly, this group is aimed at Korea and Japan, which is fine, but they should have said that from the beginning. They also should have just made this a documentary because the way they did things just brought hate to the group. I'll never complain about mnet survival shows again.

Wonhee is a good singer and that is a fact.... The lineup still sucks..we don't know if youngseo can do more than just lip biting and sexy concepts...Iroha cannot sing but maybe they took her in because she's skilled in dance...I really can't find one reason why Moka is in the lineup.. maybe because she performed well in the last 2 missions...Jimin has a really good voice texture and good stage presence but she didn't debut ...Himena can carry different concepts well but there's no Himena ...... AND there's no jiwoo- THE GREATEST VOCAL OF THEM ALL :(

Iroha and Moka are in the lineup because they wanted a japanese lineup from the start. They didn't kept Himena, because the reason she got into the final was thanks to the points the judges gave her, but she doesn't have a fanbase. Moka is actually a very strong performer (she wasn't my pick or anything but watch her scrum, aim high or tomboy perf, and you'll see, but yes, there were better trainees than her if you ask me)

To be fair though. Since the first time she performed I thought 'that girl will debut' about youngseo. And later on she showed more strategic excellence than I expected. She's going to be the star of this new group. I'm sure of it.

I'm yunah stan and honestly I don't like the rule either. If top3-6 wasn't chosen by the agency but by fan-vote then it'd have been Jeemin & Jeoungeun debut instead. I'm happy for Yunah but it's so unfair for Jeemin & Jeoungeun 😭 It's complicated

I had a slither of hope that Jiwoo would make the final line up but as soon as they announced Wonhee, I knew it was gonna go downhill from there 😭 The finale was so rigged... what was even the point of them making us vote 6 girls each round if only 2 mattered? And the live audience's vote mattered much more than online votes for some odd reason 💀 i'm not gonna dwell too much though since I think i'll-it is just gonna be kep1er 2.0. I’m happy that Moka made it, she’s really talented and I think a very special performer. It’s just… the vibe in the group is so imbalanced. Moka is better with the cuter concepts, but I think her voice is pretty versatile. Most of the girls have girl crush/badass concepts as their strength. What is the wanted ‘look’ for this group? What do they want to prove to the K-pop industry? I’m so confused on the thought process behind the choosing of the group members that I’m going to have to watch the debut to see if I can decipher it.

As soon as they eliminated Chanelle I gave up on R U Next. I prayed and PRAYED mother Jiwoo did not make the final lineup because I did not want to force myself to watch a group that I have no interest in (esp since wonhee got first like??) and just watch to support mother. Will definitely be looking out for Jiwoo, Chanelle, Funa, Ruka (my poor girl, this is the 2nd time hybe screwed her over), and Himena. Another thing I don’t like about the group is that the name literally sounds like illiterate. Hybe lost company points from me on this one. Let’s all hope Dream Academy turns out better 💀

The show and how everything was done, drained me so much that I probably won’t be watching a survival show for a hot minute. I’m going to be depending on your channel for all of my survival show news.

Korea love Wonhee, and she placed first for both 1-pick and 2-pick events. The judges had no part in deciding the top 2 lol, because the top 2 was based on fan votes. The rest were label's picks, which means, the company choses the 4 members.

i think hybe wanted himena in the line up but decided against it at the last minute. she was never popular in votes but its not like they really care about them in the first place so i was expecting her to be a pd pick. i mean the fact she got the omona part, had a whole arc in the show about not being good at korean yet, the pride choreo moment and some other things i do really think they were intending to put her in the group at the end. honestly i wouldve loved to see her debut bc she proved she has that IT factor in her but at the end shes still really young so i believe she will eventually debut and be a total menace (in a good way)

I also thought Himena was excellent. They all worked really hard but you could tell how desperately she performed her heart out and always applied whatever advice was given her. For sure she will go far. I genuinely don't get why she didn't get more votes.

I don't like the lineup but I don't hate it either. I was rooting for Himena to debut but oh well. I just hope they make another show like &audition for Chanelle, Jiwoo, Ruka, Himena and debut another girl group like Le sserafim with Jeongeun and Jeemin. I would stan both groups so hard (and maybe if they debut I'll even forget the existence of I'LL-IT which is good). Anyways, if they make good music then I'll stan but if they don't just treat it as if it never existed.

As a himena stan I actually one of those who actually happy that judge get to pick 4 member as since the earlier episode she's not fans favourite also her lack of screen time in first four episodes say everything about hybe plan on debuting certain trainee but after that judge keep talking about her and she got a decent amount of screen time make me think that she actually have a chance but after the final episode I realised I'm a 🤡.... Also as jiwoo stan too I will wait as long as forever for her debut.... And as for yunah even tho I love her I just can't bring myself to stanning this group even if it just for her cuz it's hurt....

tbh, i wouldnt be shocked if wonhee was rigged in, i mean, she went from second last to 6th to 3rd to 1st in a couple hours, and with girls like minju and jeemin that definitely had more fans in korea, its just kinda sus. i think im more shocked though that iroha was picked, bc wonhee at least can sing and if she picks up some lesson while in her rookie years, she’ll probably get pretty good. iroha was probably picked for her dance, which i lowkey hate bc vocals should be priority in kpop groups. im not going to hear you dance when i turn on spotify. i might have actually tuned into the debut if her spot was given to jiwoo, but idk. ill have to hear a teaser to see how well they’ll turn out. on the other hand, i have much higher expectations for dream academy since its SUPPOSE to be a GLOBAL girlgroup, plus i think hybe putting a lot more effort into this. currently have my eyes manon, megan, celeste, ezrela, and nayoung 😁

I had zero expectations for this group when Chanelle and Jiwoo were eliminated but then my expectations got reduced to atoms when Iroha and Chanelle were chosen...😭

When I saw the lineup I started to cry, I didn't understand what was happening. I thought I was in a nightmare, why didn't Jiwoo debut? Are the head judges okay? In the end I like the group, but I get sad thinking that Jiwoo didn't debut. Today they made their debut and I like it a lot, but I can't stop thinking about R U Next and Jiwoo, (I also love the other trainess a lot), I saw that Chanelle, Funa and Jeemin left the agency. Jeemin, she's on a survival show (I hope she's lucky, I really like her). Funa is in a group from another agency, and Chanelle went to study. Many people say that Hybe is staying with traines and debuting them in the future, I hope that's the case, because Jiwoo and more trainess are still in the company. The truth is I like the group but my head keeps thinking about the lineup. They should add more members. I will always be waiting for Jiwoo to debut, I know she will debut, she slay

I wanted big 6 so bad but even though 3/6 of them actually debuted, I realize how much I didn't actually gaf about jeemin, minju, and youngseo. I was only in it for jiwoo, yunah and chanelle. Minju and youngseo look great in the lineup but free yunah... I'm so serious like I was actually devastated when her name was called because she was giving 2nd generation idol since the beginning and then they put her in a group with kindergarteners??? Like did they see us calling her mother and took it seriously cause wtf

i literally gave up on a2k for this show thinking it was better produced... people who are saying wonhee should be main vocal are crazy

i watched the recent a2k episode recently and its not a lot better LMAO One of the best singers drouped out, a 16 year made a cover of a mature song, and there's the fact of jyp favoritism towards certain competitors. At least he doesnt pretend to let the audience choose

Idk why you would be surprised with 2 Japanese members tho, Le Sserafim had the exact same Korean:Japanese ratio at debut.

At first I'm really happy for Yunah when she's debuting cuz I've rooted for her since the 1st day but thinking about the group concept make me concern. All of them looks so different and that's a good point but they don't really have any kinds of harmony together which is very important for a group. Except Iroha & Moka, half of them (yunah, minju, youngseo) doesn't really suit the cute cringy concept while Wonhee doesn't suit the girl crush ones (she's also likely the center) so it's something💀

@@trucnhinguyen8539 Girl crush and cute concepts aren't the only one in this world. Visually speaking, they fit together well. They able to fit like a brighter fairy concept, or elegant concept. A high-teen/sporty concept could also be an option. Maybe something like Aim high/Scrum, I think. It's HYBE, so I'm sure they know what they doing, and why they chose certain members.

I wish the judges and the audience were more clever and chosed someone who really worked hard and was desperate for it. Wonhee's debut is nice because she has talent. And potential. But it's not fair because she didn't really want to debut, at least not as hard as the others wanted to. She didn't train as hard. I'm not sure if I'll stan the group in the future, it might depend on the concept they choose for it and the quality of the songs, but one thing's for sure : I'll be sad for the other trainees each time they release a new song. I hope they get to debut in some other group because they all were amazing.

I love ILand but I won't watch ILand 2. The management is under Wakeone and we know how Wakeone treated Kep1er. I better run away as far as I can with that since it would only be a mess.

@@dynamitebutterpermissionto6768 Sorry I made this very long I am really hoping HYBE will change the management to Belift instead because they are doing an alright job with Enhypen and why go to w1 when they only have 1 group under belift and they own 100% of belift and they will be able to manage the group better. (Sorry about the "side tangent") but anyways since many people won't be watching I-Land 2 because the management will be under w1 I feel like it would be the smartest move for them to not make the management under w1. Since w1 only really manages temporary groups and I am guessing that the group that comes out of I-Land 2 will not be temporary they wouldn't know how to manage a group that lasts longer than 2.5 years and the management there is really garbage

@@gpotts875 i don't know. I guess it's because mnet owns iland since it was said that cj ent was the one who invested money to build that. And the fact that hybe now owns 100% of belift means that mnet won't benefit in debuting the group under belift so they chose to debut it with Wakeone instead?
