Jiwoo being not only the best vocalist, but one of the best singers and performers WHILE ALSO HAVING the biggest global fan base and not being in the line up goes to show how rigged the show was. Devastated for her.

Idk how I feel about this group. I have people I like in the group but it just feels so disjointed and unfulfilling. If they do the high teen concept Youngseo, Yunah, Iroha, and Minju won't be utilized to their fullest. However, if they do a crush concept, Wonhee will stick out like a sore thumb. Ill be curious to see which way they go and who has to train to adapt to the concept they aren't good at.

honestly, the final girls don't match each other? like i could see yuna, jeemin, jiwoo, minju, youngseo, and iroha (or moka for an image change like what they did with enhypen's sunoo) with a powerful, girl crush or cool concept but idk what they plan for the official members of i'll-it considering wonhee is there and it'll be hard to balance their image even with moka in the middle considering she's the most versatile.

@@princessaroyale i hope it's something different from newjeans atleast? since they're in the same label, it's unlikely they'll debut with a concept like theirs. maybe stayc but i don't think they'll be able to make use of the other girl's actual talents. yuna, iroha, and youngseo excel more in powerful and cool concepts rather than bright. they can execute mature concepts better along with minju. moka is versatile but wonhee suits bright concepts best because she goes only becomes stiff and wide eyed in mature ones (take the fearless performance for example).

Defo is rigged when the least trained person that has been questioned for debut and said not to be ready by thousands of ppl is number 1, and also the judges show bias to the younger ones 💀 and some of them get more screentime even though there are other trainees more advanced than them and the ones that get the most screentime do the bare minimum compared to others Hybe fucked up, and i feel like this group isnt gonna be as successful compared to hybe groups its gonna be like &team or worse but unlike( how ever you pronounce pr spell their hard ass name till-it) or whatever, &team was ppl in the survival show that deserved a second chance and was the ones ppl wanted to also see in the lineup based on talent.

I honestly was expecting Himena to be called then Yunah because how are you going to put Wonhee, Youngseo, Iroha and Yunah in the same group? That causes major disharmony and I wonder how they will all shine. Wonhee suits cute concepts, Yunah suits elegant/2nd gen, Youngseo suits more charismatic and Iroha suits more teen/girl crush. I was crushed with Chanelle as she was my 1 pick but I had a BREAKDOWN and CRIED when Jiwoo didn’t make it.

Jihyun: Main dancer, vocalist (potential center depending on the concept) Chanelle: Lead vocalist, rapper (not main rapper because I think they'd do better if its not rap based.) Literally all the performances on the show are edited, hence we can't know if they actually did well, because only the live audience or the judges know because the judges are able to hear their raw vocals. Her dancing isn't very strong, but decent. She has improved her facial expressions in her finale performances, you could clearly tell the difference with her first vs last performances. She been improving lots, and I'm sure she will improve more. She shown us many times during practies, or side content, that she can SING! That SSFWL high note? She was able to do it in a side content perfectly...but of course, you know that because you kept up with the show, right? Lol.

I wished they added Jeemin as the 7th member. They essentially debuted the top 7 (minus Jiwoo and Jeemin) and then added Wonhee. I'll give Belift the benefit of the doubt the pre-show lineup meant something as they were observed singing live without autotune and dancing...

Obviously we couldn't do anything which is why some people didn't do or say anything. Since this was a survival show we were hoping to change that and get older, more experienced trainees in the final lineup.

This is one of the most emotional lineup critique videos I've seen and I don't even like the lineup that much. 1. All your focus on a strong vocal makes no sense when we are talking about a group that will debut in Hybe, what are you expecting? when you look at the popular Hybe groups you have New Jeans, a group that has beautiful vocals but not strong in any way. You have Kazuha and Eunchae in Le Sserafime. Hybe doesn't pay that much attention to strong vocals. And although they have good vocalists in some groups, we all can notice that it's not the strong aspect of the company. They prefer to focus on other aspects and even waste the talent of good singers in their groups (Yunjin? Hanni?) In fact Iroha is the perfect representation of a Hybe idol, good dancer, good SP, good visual, she also studied ballet one thing Hybe seems to adore in idols... an unimpressive voice adds to it all. Basically Jiwoo and Chanelle having as strong points their voices is not a draw for Hybe. Maybe they can debut in another company or as soloists but it's not THAT impressive that they've been eliminated, knowing the preferences of the company. 2. I think you are stretching your criticism of Wonhee too far, and also lying or you just don't know Korean. She NEVER said her dream wasn't to be an Idol, what she said was that she didn't expect to be chosen and that she was very grateful to the people who voted for her. In the most recent live, Wonhee said that she felt nervous and that she convinced herself that she wouldn't be chosen. The judges laughed because she couldn't find the camera and maybe because of her shocked face, it's not really relevant. The thing is we all react differently to emotional moments, Yunah almost fell apart and Wonhee didn't cry in the moment, but cried for hours after that. I don't think it would be good to judge their reactions in such an emotional moment. What if Jiwoo hadn't reacted like you say in this video? That wouldn't dismiss her or her talent in any way, these girls are receiving the most important news of their lives and it's being recorded and seen by thousands of people... the judgment here is ridiculous. Don't worry about Wonhee and Iroha, many idols have debuted young (even younger than them) and they're in very successful groups nowadays. BTS, NJ, LS, Twice.... Apparently it's not easy to change your mind once you get a taste of the idol life. In Addition I think it's an hypocrite observation since in the level of maturity there is no objective difference between being 17 and 18 years old so it seems like a poorly thought-out excuse to criticize someone. All these girls have a similar maturity level only different personalities. Having a more childish personality does not mean that you are more immature. If you actually watched the show you will know that Yunah would be the most immature in this case and she is the "oldest" of all... (They're all kids wth) As an Extra It makes sense from the corporate side because they will sign a 7 year contract. If you are 17 the contract will end at about 23, where you can still sign another extendable contract for several years of music production. If you are 21 when you make your debut with an agency, at the end of the contract you will be 28, almost 30... idols often retire to make solo careers before that age, usually at 26-27... and they usually retire at 30 because the main target of K-pop is young people who can relate to artist. This means older = less long term profit for the company. Those who criticize the age of these girls so much I guess/hope they are new in k-pop and don't know too much about the industry. Other companies that debut older people use 2-3 years contracts. 3. Having few members goes hand in hand with going international. It's the new trend among groups, no more than 6 members. Plus they probably have choreographies designed for 6 members. This contrasts with the case of Babymonster, but they are also diametrically different situations. Here the question arises: Why didn't Belief take into account the opinion of the fans? Belief not only disregarded the opinion of global fans but also the domestic votes themselves and the answer is simple; RUNEXT WAS A FLOP in all platforms. Unlike Babymonster which had a very successful pre-debut show and as a result YG felt the company had to protect the new rising fandom. Runext just never became successful, most people didn't stream the show, they only watch clips uploaded to other platforms. The RuNext fandom was small even in Korea. I think at some point Hybe gave up on the show with both the promotion and the budget which is why the final episodes feel so insipid, especially the final one that ended so abruptly, it's was kinda anticlimactic, right?. The show did not live up to the expectations of creating a large fandom and attracting people so the company didn't mind disappointing a small fandom if they could hand pick girls they thought would do well promotionally, "stan attractors". And it kinda work! I think the Big 6 lineup isn't a lineup made to be successful, it's a lineup made to fit the Crush Girl concept that many RuNext fans have become enamored with and that is not a popular concept in these days. All of them are too much similar and overlap, don't complement each other in specific roles but just "look good together" they don't serve to attract different types of audiences so It's clearly a lineup a fan would choose but not a company with a market strategy. And here's my point, the lineup chosen by the company is good, you won't be successful with talent alone, the entertainment world world doesn't work like that. Also the girls must be chosen because they fit the concept that the company has created and we don't even know what it is, they have an advertising and market analysis team that clearly knows what they are doing, we are just k-pop fans who never ever debut anyone. Another thing I noticed is that the girls chosen are perfectly marketable, they have potential and talent. Hybe is projecting with a group that will debut in 2024 (that's at least 5 more months of training) and that it wants to develop until then. Personally I think the concept of the group will be duality and they will show us various concepts, they have hinted it at least.

But a kpop group have to make songs. So who is gonna sing? Minju and Yuna are the singers and Youngseo is more of a rapper. But they can’t carry the whole group. They are not Wendy or Taeyeon level to carry a whole group. Wonhee has legit no talent and is even more tonedeaf then Momo, but Momo is a good dancer. While Wonhee can’t dance either and does not even have visuals or stage presence as Wonyoung. Worst possible lineup.

He is actually the singer Lee Hyun from BigHit, the first one to debut on the label. In my mind he was like "an uncle/dad" to BTS and TXT, and that got me surprised because I always thought he was a nice guy, and now I see him as a weird dude... sad :/

I won't support this group (because how rigged the show was) but I won't hate on the girls. this lineup doesn't stick out to me and if I ever watch their performances, it would only be for Yunah. honestly this group is most likely gonna flop internationally but I think hybe wants them to only cater in Asia anyways.

I like the lineup. It was clear from the start that the votes didn't count for much, and the group was filled based on the needed roles. I'll follow the group but I'm more excited about following the eliminated girls. Jiwoo, Chanelle, Ruka, Himena... even Iris. H Japan still needs a girl group and Kpop is changing to give older girls (women) better opportunities. I think everyone will do well.

⁠the only thing Wonhee is talented in is singing but even then her vocal technique needs improvement but she does have a nice voice. Other than that, I watched videos with Wonhee and that girl can’t even make a single facial expression, her presence and dancing skills lacks a lot. Plus she looks too young and IS too young. Please be for real, Wonhee is in the group because she very pretty and less to do more her skills. It’s not hate stating that fact. Like I don’t dislIke her at all and she not the only one who shouldn’t be there but out of all current members she is one member that definitely doesn’t seem ready to debut in I’LL- IT and I probably wouldn’t be too annoyed if she placed 6th but 1st rank? Is a joke and that’s giving rigged. Personally I won’t be supporting but good luck to them

man we had the same line up and opinios, also idk what to do with the group for a side is a messed up line up and i Hate de name group, but for other i see moka and youngseo and i just cant give up on them. So i just end up more confussed. Either way im happy 3/4 of my picks debuted, but at what cost? i still gonna look foward for jiwoo and wish the best to funa, ruka and moa :")

yeah wonhees reaction was SO weird…. like yunah just started crying (even before they called her name) and it’s clear how much she wanted this, but wonhee was just a deer in headlights

I think she would be the most popular if she was in the group, and I think she would fit with any concept, but I don't reeeeally miss her in illit because I like her and Yunah better in other concepts... so like, I miss her, but I'm hoping to see her in a more powerful concept in the future! And I feel sad for not seeing Yunah like she was in the "bad girl good girl" performance again :( illit is not really my style when it comes to their music, it's catchy, but I don't see myself becoming a fan, it feels sad cause I've watched r u next for months

I couldnt bring myself to watch the show when I found out jiwoo wasn’t part of the group while wonhee has center. I voted every fkg day mind you I’m a college student I normally don’t have time for that but i wanted my girl to debut which our efforts made her #5 over all and i can imagine even #1 international but they just disregarded our votes and made their own group I’m so mad because i know they will get away with it more fans out of the RUN community will come due to the hybe privilege that’s why I’m so mad this group will probably do good but what they did was so unfair. Newer fans will never understand the pain predebut fans went through. It just feels so infuriating like I’ve never watched a survival show so maybe that’s why it saddens me so much because people say this is common in survival shows. I will never be stanning I’ll it i just can’t look at the group without feeling mad and sad. The fact that we might never see jiwoo debut in a good group is what saddens me. I will never watch another survival show thanks to this show. I refuse to believe that yunah looks cohesive with wonhee they are polar opposites

They don't stand a chance in the industry. Look at Kiss of LIfe and Babymonster. Babymonster their direct competitor and the most recent debut Kiss of Life. They are too lacking

i mean you can say that they are too young and not good enough to debut but they got in the group by votes from fans and coaches......The fans that you cant control are mostly the highest numbers and are watching and supporting the girls.... its hypocritical to say that a debut group should be an all ace group because many famous groups have uhhmmm "not so talented" but improve along the way and became famous. Visuals unfortunately have a higher chance than talents its the fans fault to only care about visuals . When fans pick their bias or pick the most famous its usually the visuals but there are times that talent have more impact than visuals like newjeans hanni and haerin are the most famous cause they are good in dancing not minji who is their official visual (but both hanni and haerin have damn good visuals). You can say anything you want about talents and years of being trainees if you cant catch the eye of those fans and judges it just doesnt work sorry to say....The number of years in training doesnt give free pass to debut also there are a lot of trainees who became impatient of years being trained but not debuting switch to other company or worst those who gave up after being train for a very long time and live among the masses.... If you want to criticize someone it should be the fans who voted( If the show really was not rigged) you cant fault the company who sees the progress of the trainees themselves. They know better than us maybe they didnt see something special with the other trainees we dont know but they may regret that decisions someday but this is their decision now what they see now......

Before this group i always thought "how can you throw away member(s) and be otX? They all are great!" But i really reconsider things for now. I dont think wonhee deserves all that hate, but i just cant get myself to watch content with her bcs i really feel cringy and stuff. I want to give this group a chance, because i like yunah and moka also minju and youngseo are great, but two other girls... idk how to feel about them. They got talent but i believe they could show it later and receive much less backlash. Also i wonder why did they not include jeemin because this girl is madly beautiful, popular and great performer. Like i really want to believe that hybe got some plans for these "powerful girls" like jiwoo, jeemin, chanelle, jihyun and jeongeun. If they end up debuting ill 100% consider stanning them. Also i wonder which concept illit will pursue as i see 5/6 of them sutable for girl crush or whatever desperate and pride concepts were, but i doubt wonhee could pull it off as she is leanning to the cute side.

If Hybe think Jiwoon and Chanel was as good as you guys think I am sure Hybe would debut them without making show. They debut New Jeans and lesserafim without it and the group seems to doing great.

I think Wonhee is too good for this group. She shouldn’t compete in this show in the first place. What she need to do is trained two more year to join a better group. Even if Jiwoo get into this group, I am sure the group will still flop.

This is the worst line up!

If you actually looked at their recent vogue Korea photo shoot you’d see how FREAKING WELL these girls go together, so argument refuted. Youngseo does well in brighter songs too, she was a Ador trainee ofc she does. Jeemin was a terrible vocalist, worse than Iroha for sure so I don’t know why you only dig at Iroha. You guys need to stop being salty, hybe are professionals they know what they’re doing

Jeemin wasn't a bad vocalist at all she's not the best but her vocal is pretty good and she can control her voice but she just lacks the breath control+ Iroha didn't shine as a vocalist or a singer till this moment her voice is not special and clearly needs training

Jeemins voice was terrible. I voted for her but I lowkey was happy that she didn't debut because I can't stand her voice. Even with more vocal training, the quality of her voice would still be bad.
