of all survival shows I've seen, &Audition had the best system imo For those unfamiliar, it was a survival show to determine who would be the 5 trainees to debut alongside the 4 that would already debut The results were only revealed on the last episode, and they were determined by: Producer evaluation (basically, the dance and vocal coaches who accompanied them throughout their evolution) was 40%, Special guest evaluation (experts in the area like Zico, but have no strings attached to the trainees) was 30%, and fan voting was 30% This way, even if you were popular, you had to be at least decent, filtering the likes of Wonhee Also, fun fact: the boy with least votes that got into the line up (Maki) was also the one who got the most Producer and Special Guest points

Jihyun is center material and chanelle is such a standout and well rounded. Mother jiwoo is always serving.

Bro the favoritism in this show is insane, I'm sorry to any Ena, Iris or Wonhee stan but I don't see any sparks on these girls I mean Ena being the youngest (12 yrs old 💀) and Iris can't even control her vocals is 💀 she's always so behind and Wonhee I don't even know what to say tbh she mostly gets the screentime in the show and it pisses me off, and these judges who can't see Jeemin, Jihyun & Jiwoo's talent. Please I’m so mad the other given or taken team didn’t win. I didn’t even watch the show (watching through edits till I have time to watch full episodes) but could feel them slay through the screen. Literally in shock on the fact the other team won

After this most recent episode came out, I can say with confidence that Iris is tone-deaf. She probably got scouted for her dancing, but she had no interest in singing, in which case the idol industry would definitely not be for you in that case. As a producer, I would never put someone with an inability to recognize relative pitch differences through a show where the public can see this very severe weakness. This situation was also what made me absolutely sure that autotune is also at play here. Despite all this, I still want to say: "There is a trainee named Yuisa who would have loved to make the most out of this survival show opportunity. So how about you respect that and actually make an attempt to learn while you are there?" As for the Given-Taken performance, I don't think there is any favoritism at play here. I don't think the producers preferred one group over another that much to influence the results of this one performance. I think it's either of two possibilities. The first is that the judges truly have no idea what they want, and this time they judged for steely mentality and/or perseverance, which is quite questionable as a metric on a performance survival show. The other one, and the one I think is more likely, is cheap drama. If they make the team that performed better be the losing team, it looks like there's suspense as to who will end up victorious in the show. Keep in mind that in a performance survival show, there is bound to be variance. Contestants do better at different times. It is also true that what we see as audience members is different from what the judges see. But as a judge, please at least be honest with what you're looking for. That's more fun to watch for both the kinds of people who like the performances and the kinds of people who like the survival aspect of these kinds of shows. As for R3H, I am not one bit surprised that something like Dream of You is a song choice on a survival show. It's been a disturbing pattern, but how exactly do we as keyboard smashers stop that. That's one problem. The other is that everyone can tell without even listening to the performances who is going to come out on top. The teams should have been more balanced in the first place. And then add that onto the fact that one single team can choose for all 3? I don't blame the winning team for choosing the song that suits them the most and then between the remaining two songs, decide which song suits which team more and then swap them. That's a fault of the rules, not the contestants.

Mother jiwoo should be the standard. Period.

To be fair to Iroha, there is quite literally no way to prepare to slip on a necklace that shouldn’t be there. The only reason High-B won there was because the judges liked Iris for some reason, it had nothing to do with Iroha who still slayed before and after she slipped.

I too didn't know much abt yuisa when she was eliminated, but after watching that i felt really bad so i tried to look back at her performances and bruh.. she was definitely better than iris, ena and wonhee.

Aw, you skipped the part that me laugh, when the girls suffered trying to split across the floor [the edit of the one girl being tiny after splitting her legs so hard was the best, I'm sorry, I guess I'm the sadist]. But you're right, I stopped voting after this episode and frankly I don't think I'll get up at f*ck o'clock in the morning my time to watch this show anymore, whereas Boys Planet, I couldn't wait to get up to watch each week and voting was just mandatory!! My gripes are the same, no fan cams, no fixed camera of the performances, only the broadcast version with silly edits. The editing between the performances are such a drag, I have zero investment in the emotional welfare of the trainees, even my favorites. I'm fairly sure the trainees you think will debut will likely make the group, they already stand out head and shoulders above the rest, it's obvious, stop making them fight against each other. If I had to decide on the ranking, I'd drop Iroha to fourth place, mainly for two specific reasons. The reason I'd change her ranking is because of her supposed "accident" during the 'Given-Taken' performance, and the reason I'm not putting her in LOW ranking, she recovered from it quickly, as any professional idol would. I'm not picking favorites because...you know how that can turn out. Also, the girls that performed 'Fearless' by Le Sserafim are definitely going up to MID rank in my opinion, because WOW, their stamina is impressive, not to mention their strong voices. *(There. I did what most R U Next judges wouldn't do, and that's showing ACTUAL impartiality.)*

Actually i did see her as confident and charismatic and since it really is a survival show but for once, i did question yunah's mindset when she said she purposely push her other members for parts that they would will not fit in to. I don't know if it's evil editing or mistranslation but-

OH im so happy white team won?? AHAH i'm not even watching the show but they had a great start and overall very good, i would have penalised them only for the accident but I guess someone didn't- maybe yall are the partial one 🤣🤣
