Are we allowed to listen to Lea without crying? I know that I can not.
Lea Sonlonga does a great job playing Fantine. Difinantly one of the best performances. I will say that my favorite Fantine is Ruthie Henshaw. Her version of "I Dreamed a Dream," for me is unbeatable. Certain spots where she adds rasp to her voice for great effect. Also, when Ruthie and Lea's voices come together at the end of the 10th Annaversary is pure magic. Add in Colm Wilkinson's voice with them and perfection. Great reaction. Love Lea Solonga's voice.
I love lea..she’s just perfect
Another brilliant review Nick. A gift, indeed, that ‘s worth-sharing, and we all benefit from it!
Seeing Lea perform this live on Broadway made me "feel" this character for the first time ever. I never connected with Fantine before seeing her do it. Quite simply, she brings an emotional depth to the part that equals her unparalleled vocal talents. I cannot get enough of Lea (or Les Mis for that matter).
how about react to her audition song as Mulan Written in stone. She still sound very much like a Disney princess. She sang this in her concert tour.
i really love your analysis every time you give your reaction to a song or performance you are reviewing. i never get tired listening to your reviews. very professional. well done nick!

I appreciate that!
Bravo 👏
Also her version of Burn from the musical Hamilton that she sang in her London Palladium pls.
Thanks
Keep in mind that there were 15 years between the time that she sang Eponine and the time that she sang Fontaine. So it makes sense that her voice had aged a little bit.
I have watched a lot of Lea's videos and hav never seen her out of character
you are perfectly correct
Agree!❤
Originated Kim in Miss Saigon when she was just 17.
lyrics are heart breaking
Looking forward to more reactions about the songs of Musical, I really like this theme
Once I sang a medley from Les Mis in a choir, and as a soprano I have trouble with the low notes in "as they tear our hope apart". Will try to follow your tips!
On the happy side listen to Pentatonix with Lea Salonga in Christmas in our hearts
Have you checked Lea's 'Via Dolorosa' ?
Please react to her other covers Beauty and the beast, Colors of the Wind, and also her Audition to Miss Saigon🥺
which are your favourite singers and where are videos of you singing?
Requesting your reaction to a Filipino choir singing a standard choral work you know well and have sung before :D
oh that face
how modify vowels yet make words understood
❤❤️❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
julie andrews sound of music, mary poppins, fair lady,
Please react to Lea Salonga singing "The Music of the Night" with Il Divo. Thank you.
Perfect vessel indeed! Excellent eval!! Please evaluate her other song, this time from a character of an older woman obsessed with love for another person - kzread.info/dash/bejne/gJaotbtshtXRqJc.htmlsi=MDOIhBQOIn_SM_4w
I love the Daren Criss’s version only guitar violin and his voice ❤
I just searched your video page and I cannot believe that you have never reacted to Shoshana Bean. what a travesty, indeed may I suggest you reacting to her sitting on the stool with the piano, and nothing else accompanying her as she emotes and flawlessly sings she used to be mine.
