Idk, I noticed that MAJORITY of men, of all age groups do NOT wash hands after both number 1/2. Like, sometimes we have no water for the whole day at work. And because no one washes their hands I get to open the tap and there'll still be left over water lmfao

Well considering I understand why people don’t she just doesn’t understand what men can do. Quite often you can go to the bathroom. And you don’t need to touch anything. You sit. When your done you pull your pants up and leave. No need to wash your hands when you didn’t touch anything in the first place. This is a general statistic asking about when generally leaving the bathroom. Nothing specific about what’s being done.

If it makes you feel better it’s almost certainly a misleading study. I know lots of dudes are lax about hand washing but that number is ridiculously high or misleading.

I do wash my hands, but honestly there isn't a lot of reason for it. Whatever germs we think we are removing in the washing just get acquired again from the very next thing we touch. Washing hands is useful BEFORE certain activities like surgery or food prep. It probably isn't doing anything for us after activities.

Protip: Keep a stash of moisturizer underneath your 4skin so you can moisturize after washing you hands.

I didn’t realize that the statistic was so high. I thought folks in the least would rinse. Some dudes I know require the stall to “dry off” in addition to properly washing hands after.

And the non handwashers are more successful than me a handwasher.

In my line of work i wash my hands before i take a leak.

I probably used to not always wash my hands as a kid, but now I can't even imagine not washing my hands after going to the bathroom.

I live with two other men (my little brother and his dad) none of them wash their hands, neither when they wake up, going to the toilet to pee or taking a dump, so yeah 67 looks almost correct.

Sadly reality.

I'll always wash my hands nowadays because my hands are always covered in grease or metal dust. I know it doesn't do much, but I'll always at least rinse my hands off well.

From my experience as a professional person of the male sex,… literally almost all guys I see that go out of the stalls head straight to the sink. It’s more likely for guys to wash their hands with no soap, but that’s usually because there’s no soap left. In fact, the amount of men I see that don’t wash they’re hands at all(with or w/o soap) is so unlikely that I very vividly remember that time I saw a teen boy go straight from the stall out the door.(which was a month ago)

tbf freshly showered healthy pp is theoretically just as much plain skin as the hands are. Of course, micro droplets or junk marinating in undies is another matter. But half the people that "wash" don't bother with soap anyway, so "washing" is still suspect lol On the flip side, you get sticky, pasty, greasy, slimy, dust caked surfaces everywhere because a someone out there wont lay off on the hand cream... and you dont know if it's even hand cream they are spreading... that is kind of just as unappetizing imo just assume everyone and everything they touch is gross and contageous in general lol

I wash my hands with soap. Dry them of off with paper towel and air dryer machine. Lastly, apply ample amounts of alcohol/hand sanitizer. This is basic office hygiene. Which country did Shiina get that statistic from?

That's not the reason why men do that I mean maybe but for me, I pee without hands, so I don't wash them.

I mean, I wash my hands just fine. But the point about hand lotion is NOT a solution for dry hands. "Oh good! Let me go back to whatever I was doing now that my hands are a lotiony greasy mess. Gee, this feels great. Now let me rub this grease all over whatever it is I'm about to touch. Oh, my daily use keyboard and mouse are now a gross mess covered in greasy lotion? That's AWESOME." And in case anyone gets the stunning idea of saying, "Use a non-greasy lotion!" They are all greasy. Every single one. Yes, even that special one that you use that's totally not like all the others. Lotion HATE.
