Honestly anything you do is going to be incredible, this song was incredible and it made my day a little better to be honest. That being said, I do think it would be cool to hear you do some more metal covers and turn them into like pop-punk/emo/metalcore. Maybe something a little bit heavier than your normal style just to change it up a little bit? Or maybe something completely different entirely? Regardless, it will be a banger. As a dude that has lost friends and tried to lose himself multiple times, this is the worst thing to say. It removes all value from the person going through it and places the burden more on them. If the only reason for one to stay is for another, then there really is no point in staying. It's like saying your friend makes the best food you've ever eaten and going to mcdonalds because it's what YOU want. The only thing you should say is "I'm sorry if I contributed to that feeling", and then be there if they want company, even if it's constant texts from a distance that mean nothing. And that's all the time. Sending videos, pics, memes, voice messages. Even if they're unread you at least have something kept up. If someone is drunk or out of it, then yeah, be proactive. But someone feeling that way just needs someone there. No pity. No emotion. Just a "Hey bro, I'm here if you WANT to talk about it.". Treat it like you're talking to a terrified child, or trying to gain the trust of a stray dog. Everything in them is screaming flight instead of fight. It is easier to give up than to give in to living. The scared dog doesn't need comfort. It needs stability and time. The child doesn't need friendship or saving. They need confidence. Please please please if your friends feel done, just be there as an option. If you know, they already made the first step. They are already fighting. Just be there however you can without being an emotional influence. Stay neutral while they figure out that even though life has a boyfriend/girlfriend, life is poly. It can't always be there but when it is it's at least an 8/10, and giving you the attention it can.
