"I know I'm a mess, but in a way there's comfort in that." Whoa. Probably not meaningful at all if you can't relate. But for me, that REALLY struck a personal chord.

Same, I also understand liking being alone because no one can hurt you, no one will judge you and there i not need to pretend you are ok when you're not. I prefer hanging with my cats an dog at home. That's the reason why I still live alone when I've been in a serious relationship for almost 7 years. Besides my best (and only) friend, i can't imagine living with anyone else. It would give me so much more anxiety. My best friend is jut as screed up as me, that's why we are the perfect friends. She knows me better than anyone and vice versa. She can move in anytime but my boyfriend has to wait until a miracle happens or until I finally have a break trough during therapy.

I am an unlicensed therapist and the truth is happiness is binary, that is, you are either happy or you are not, and there is no true gray area. That said, if she doesn't know if she is happy, then she probably is not happy. She just needs to figure out why, and like it or not that is probably going to require therapy. But her viewers are not doctors and she should not invite them to give advice or to diagnose her in the comments, given the very real possibility of getting bad or incorrect advice that is based on opinion rather than fact.

Your self esteem should not come from what others...especially men....think of you. Let’s get that straight. Stop the self loathing and think positive. You are not ready for dating. You are grieving a relationship. Take a vow of celibacy for now. Be content with who you are and stop wanting others to get you because that is unachievable for anyone. When you are feeling healthy emotionally and physically other healthy men will be lining up. No healthy stable man with marriage in mind wants a life partner who is not. They want a balanced partnership .

I agree but Also I have to disagree with the stable man part. I have a friend who was in a toxic relationship for 5 years and very mentally unstable, he left her and she had the lowest self esteem ever. 3 months later she met a man, 2 months after she was pregnant and 3 months after they got engaged and now they’re married. She literally found a stable marriage and started a family when she never got herself together first. Sometimes self esteem doesn’t have to do with attracting relationships, there are plenty of people currently in a relationship and are very unstable and have low self esteem.

I just feel like Trish lives such a self-absorbed life... and I don't say that to be mean, but her whole entire existence revolves around TRISHA. No one to take care of, no one who needs her (except for people she pays) and it's all so.... empty. Her self-worth is all wrapped up in her appearance, because what else is there? If she focused some of that energy on helping others in some real way (because she is smart, caring and has a lot to give!) I guarantee this would bring more rewarding fulfillment into her life than any one night stand, fast food run, drinking binge, etc. Imagine how many people she could help, how many she could truly be a blessing to if she turned some of her resources towards others? Less time to drown in your own sorrows when you are focusing on the needs of others, and then maybe she would find some self-worth that has some true depth and lasting power. It's sad to hear her try to convince herself that she is "happy" through her own tears. heartbreaking :(

Which I did think help. But it really sucks.

I think the adult thing to do for both of them would be to talk it out, accept the things that they did which were wrong, apologize and explain to each other how they both feel now that they have had time to assess and cool down but hey I'm just some schlub on the internet.

If you depend on external influences (other people, goods, possessions, your career etc.) to feel 'happy', then you can never experience true happiness, or at least remain happy for long. People will inevitably disappoint you, goods and possessions lose value and there is always the next new trendy, more expensive thing, your career can end at any given moment. They're all fleeting. I suggest you meditate, Trish, and work on inner peace, if you are sincerely willing to change and better your mental, emotional and spiritual health. Meditation is no joke. It works. If you depend on just you for happiness, you can tap into an eternal ocean of it within yourself. Wishing you all the best.

Your saving grace is that at heart you’re likable and relatable. I always like you, but I don’t always like your actions. I hope you’re happy with yourself. Happiness comes from within, not from others. I do think staying busy and not constantly living in one’s head helps too. Sometimes we have to find our own closure and forgive despite not getting an apology. You do this for yourself and your own sanity. It gets easier the more you fill your life up with positive things and let go of the victim mentality. Remember we’re all flawed and effed up. We’ve all been hurt. Try and find the humanity and grace in that and extend that empathy to others, even those who have hurt you.

I get this video on so many levels... I also had these talks with straight men who's only goal and meaning in life is self-optimization. They think they need to fix you but they aren't even trying to understand where you are coming from. There is just no talking to them. You are good the way you are, you are a human being with emotions and ups and downs in life. Nothing wrong with that.

One of the problems you face is that you’re so loving. You fall so hard because you give so much. People see that and they want to take advantage of it and they’ll use you and abuse you because they know you’ll always apologize. You’ll always be there for them. And then they screw you over because they know they can beat you up and tear you down and because you love so much, you will apologize and put the blame on yourself. And that’s why it’s so hard to let people in because they take advantage of your generous love. I related so much to this video and I want you to know I love you and you can get through this.

“Resentment is like taking poison and waiting for the other person to die.” -Malachy McCourt. Saying you’re sorry is not “taking responsibility for being in the wrong”.. saying you’re sorry means letting go. Letting go of all of that pain and bitterness. Sorry is not for the other person.. it’s for you. So that *you* can heal and move on. It took me some very painful lessons to learn this. 3 male figures in my life died suddenly while I was pissed and angry at them.. because I was hurting, I turned it into anger.. it’s what I do. But, forgiving those 3 men, whom I love very much, was probably the best thing I’ve ever done. That pit of anger and pain in my stomach disappeared. Forgiveness means acknowledging that you were hurt and letting go of the anger you’re carrying.

trish. do some new things. I made a list for you and you can choose what you want to do with it: 1. MOVE. Your house has some memories in it that you would rather not remember. Don’t attach to negative things. You need to learn to let go and move on. 2. DO A CLOTHING CLEANSE. Clean your space. Sell a few things to your followers and don’t hold on to things that really don’t have that much meaning. De clutter 3. CUT YOUR HAIR. Give yourself a new look. A cute bob or short hair to the shoulders would look nice on you especially straight 😍 4. TAKE OFF THOSE NAILS. Learn to be free from things like that. There is nothing wrong with it, but take a step back and love your natural self. No weave or fake nails. 5. DISSOLVE THE LIP FILLERS. Just for now so you can focus on doing a cleansing and just loving your natural self. 6. EAT CLEAN. Don’t be tempted to binge. Don’t do mukbangs unless it’s healthy eating. GET A PERSONAL TRAINER! 7. WORKOUT! When you begin working out and you are on that treadmill trust me all those negative thoughts will come in your head and make you work harder and faster! 8. BOXING! Relieve the negative energy if you want. 9. TAKE A BREAK FROM SOCIAL MEDIA. GET CLEAN AND SOBER!! Maybe all the things above would help you... you never know Please consider some of this! Also when moving, you should find someone to help you de clutter and sell some of the things you do not need. You should also get someone to decorate your home if you’d like (like Mr.Kate). None of these are negative and me telling you to take your nails off or dissolve your lip fillers is so that you can become one with your natural self. so you can focus on yourself and not give in to societal norms.. kisses 😘 EDIT: if people have some things they would like to add on the list, I’ll edit it! this is just to help trish out!

These are all very good and very intelligent things to consider. You trish fans who are all upset and thinking you need to protect your queen, you enabling her and that is not healthy and it is not love. She needs realistic things to help her not just fake love from people who dont know her. All you do is watch the "shit show" as well. She is a beautiful person, she just needs to cleanse these false things out of her life for a while to appreciate her true self. The self she can never get away from no matter how many surgeries or materialistic items. You can not find self worth in worldly possessions.

Look at all the support you have here. If I had half the amount of people in my life that you have listening to you and watching you daily, I think I would start to feel more grateful. You also focus way too much on outside things to make you happy... Money, material possessions, the way you look rather than what's on the inside. Yoga and meditation help. I need to make a gratitude list or keep a journal myself and I think that could help also... Just going inward and getting off social media and getting away from the habit of posting our entire lives on the internet for an audience may do wonders. Getting back to living, truly living without people watching is probably a wise decision. It's hard in this digital age, but it can be done with practice. You have a lot of people rooting for you and a lot of people who wish you well.
