Hi Camirra, just wanted to say that my parents constantly clean the sink after washing their meat [South Asian household] and when I moved away to college years ago, I always took that with me. I know there's probably younger people out there who might watch these videos and learn something about good kitchen habits, so thanks for including that in your videos. :]

Girlfriend...sounds and looks DELICIOUS! One of my favorite fish dinners is called Po Man's Lobster. Calls for halibut or cod. Cut into cubes. Make a salt bath (salt to taste) and bring to boil then turn down to soft boil. Add fish and when it floats to the top skim it off. Meanwhile, melt enough butter and fresh garlic and saute with whatever seasonings you like for the amount of fish you cook. Serve with whatever you like, rice, pasta, etc. So easy and delicious!

I had just told my daughter we had some Parmesan Tilapia in the freezer that needed eating and how I wanted to eat more fish. I guess my phone was listening because I opened KZread and it gave me not one but two of your videos! Watching this one first and will definitely be making it! I grew up only eating fried fish and have avoided it until the last few years when I have started baking it. This looks quick and easy! I can’t wait to watch more of your videos! Thank you for teaching this almost 63 year old some new tricks!

One of the fun and simple ways to do baked fish is to cook it on a cedar plank. You can get the planks at Walmart. I love doing Cedar Plank Salmon. You basically pull the cedar planks out of the package and soak them over night in wine (generally a dry white wine works best, something light with notes of fruit but not anyone too sweet). You put the salmon on the plank, skin down, and sprinkle on some fresh dill and put lemon slices on top. I usually serve it with a side of cilantro lime rice and oven roasted asparagus. I use a long grain American rice that I wash in the sink several times until I get the starch off, then put it in a rice cooker with water. Before cooking, I squeeze several lemons for their juice (2-4 usually works) into the rice cooker bowl, then zest some of the rinds into the bowl as well. Then I chop up some the cilantro somewhat finely and add that to the bowl. Give it a few stirs to evenly distribute then pop the lid on the rice cooker. The roasted asparagus is pretty straight forward; you take your asparagus and cut the bottoms off (generally about a knuckle length) before you peel the skin around the bottom. Then you season them with Alpine Touch (it’s a spice mix made of salt, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and MSG. Its always available in Montana, but don’t know if it’s up on Amazon. Can mail it to you if you like) before you put them in a metal tray with some butter. You basically roast them until al-dente so they still have a bit of a bite to them and aren’t limp.
