At least good to hear that your parents aren't judgemental. And also nice that they give you the space to continue your own journey and support you in it as well. I always say never believe in anything. But keep an open mind for new answers and possibilities.

My parents are typical African Christian parents if i ever even expressed my doubts openly beyond just disliking church it would be violent etc.. at this point i am in between

My mom thinks I’m being influenced by the Devil when I talked to her about it, so there’s that. We still have a great relationship, probably because I started going to church again every once in a while, just to make her happy and the folks at her church absolutely adore me (been like that to all churches I’ve been to) I don’t expect her to understand because we live in the Bible Belt, churches on every corner. When I’ll reveal this? Who knows. Because my closest friends are also heavily church going, some relationships will be affected by this

True. But I don't think as many will be as you suspect. This channel has a video about "coming out" to the Christians in his life and was pleasantly surprised and internally lifted by the experience and the weight he was no longer carrying around. You should check it he out!

Clever Name Here I did talk to my closest friends about it, they said any choice you make, they would support me as a person.

It’s worth speaking out where your heart is at. There will be haters, but there will also be people who absolutely adore and respect you for being brave and vulnerable enough to tell the world where you are at in life. In your own time of course, but speaking from experience it’s WORTH IT!

How do you have those hard conversations with your parents? Are they difficult? I was born into christianity and I have walked away from it as of recently. My parents have been in ministry for years, my mom being a pastor. I've tried to tell them my path of exploring different philosophies, but they seem to believe that I will choose to believe in this religion again.

If your father didn't warn you about your Salvation then your blood is on his hand because if you die now you will end up in Hell because without your Salvation you will wake up on hell after you die . My son also not beliver but every day i warn him according to bible because i don't want his blood on my hand .
